Suunto is built in Finland and now they're about 300 USD as of February 2023. Just picked one up used from a friend for a good price. It's very good quality.
Could you please take photo of the instruction? I have the same tool, measured trees all summer and lost instruction and now can't calculate the height of the trees
Thank you, but different companies apply different rules to their tools. Btw, I found particular instruction: the "angle" should be treated as percantage, and then height of the object will be the distance to the object multiplied to obtained percantage

Kladovka You can go to the web site to learn how to use it. If that web site dosent have instructions then Suunto web site does.

Look up the Suunto. That manual is usable with this and has all the formulas
