My favorite video is: How Did The Perth Mint Let THIS Happen...? It was nice to hear more details on Pauly Buck's find and experiences. I'm not a big round stacker but I do collect and lot of the vintage rounds. Favorite round- 1982 Proof Engelhard Prospector.

My favorite video was about the pocket piece silver coin. You presented a very unique perspective that only collectors and stackers understand. I really learned that we have a similar outlook on silver during this video. A true coin enthusiast always has something neat nearby! Those rounds are pretty badass!
That was my first real 'viral' hit that really jump-started my growth. It's looking like Junk Silver 101 will probably take over in a couple months though. MH just wait until you see some of the places I've been taking my pocket piece this summer!

It's great that you are learning now, so you don't make any decisions you regret. We all make mistakes along the way, but it's hard to go wrong just going slow and steady and buying low-premium bullion grade silver! You and me both! I've had some great scores from the generic bin, particularly with smaller collectible bars! The other day, there were hundreds of silver rounds at my LCS-- but all of them were Buffalos and replica Morgans.. no fun!

Those rounds are really nice. I pretty much like all your videos or I wouldn't be subscribed lolol. Some of my favorites include your tenth gold video, silver coin comparison videos and your constitutional videos. I must say my absolute favorite if I had to pick one would be your $500 pound queen beasts completer kilo video. I've been trying to get one at a reasonable price and they hard to find. I luv the way that it has a $500 pound face amount on it. If silver keeps dropping it will be worth more for face value then silver weight lolol. Take care and keepem videos coming!

I like intaglio mint rounds, like the Mercury dime design or gold Indian recuse design, my favorite video was the one where you have the quadrant classifying people as a stacker, collector, gold, or silver. Love the videos!
They do some great stuff at Intaglio.. I actually picked up a 2 oz Mercury design a while back and somehow I haven't showed it off on the channel, only showed up for a brief second in my single "Short" style video where I added reeds to the Philharmonic.

The Phauip Company makes really nice rounds. I think they missed an opportunity by not putting the year on their rounds. I think they could have eked a bit into the Semi-numi market if they had the year on them. My favorite vid is probably the Kilo Completer vid. I'm also a kilo fan and was stoked to see that SilvergoldBull started selling Goddess Europa kilo bars. Always wanted one, but buying from Europe was super expensive. Keep up the positive vides SF!!
You make a really good point about years/semi-numi, especially given how small the original mintages were! Fun Fact about that QB Kilo Completer --- yesterday it's melt value finally dipped BELOW it's face value of 500 GBP. That being said, its market value has actually increased significantly since I purchased it, despite the significant drop in silver spot price!

Glad it was helpful, Eric! Having some collectible pieces can be a nice way of maintaining value when the spot price drops like this. While many of my generic rounds or bars may have dropped in price, my more collectible pieces (e.g., Engelhard loaf bars) are actually still selling for the same price as when I bought them when silver was closer to $30/oz.

To me, a generic is a generic is a generic. Although the Constance rounds are very nice. This is my favorite video of yours so far (That I've seen. I've only seen about a dozen or so.)
Only about 80 more videos to go! I think you're right that a generic is a generic, but (then again) think of all the old vintage generics that are collectible now. I'm also willing to pay an extra buck if (1) I get some enjoyment out of it and (2) I can support a small business.

Stack the [BEST] 1/10 oz gold coin collection.
The first one you pulled out was a Libertad. I got one a couple of months ago, plus a Maple, American Eagle and a platinum American Eagle.
I have more 1/4 oz gold coins, though.

I bought six 1/2 oz gold Britannias early on, but after a while I saw that the premium on the 1/2 and 1/4 was pretty close and that the 1/4 was a better coin for resale on the secondary market. I look for limited mintage collectors coins that appeal to me and that I think will hold collectors interest in the future.
Sounds like you've been thinking about this quite a bit... I think my LEAST favorite size would be the 1/2 oz, just because there's not a big advantage premium-wise... Now that I'm thinking about it, I don't know if I've even bought any serious amount of sovereign silver in 2022... Last year, I feel like the premium between generic rounds/bars and sovereign coins was close enough, but now it seems so far away... maybe I'm off? Need to double check the numbers

I was just looking at my 1989 silver Eagle s $1 MS 69 and it is not marked Troy ounce just ounce. So I really don’t think it matters as long as it weighs what it is to be.
