Hi Dustin, do you typically recommend using the Dicor 551LSW no sag, non self leveling sealant for the vertical insert moldings? I have a couple spots on my Class C that need resealing.
@@jrotor3301 send me some pictures and all do my best to advise you. Thanks again for watching we appreciate it. You can post them in any of the groups and I’ll reply back.
Well that's helpful information about the molding. Knew about roof edges and stuff but shrinking molding and other video with a drip hole are really great to see.
What is that top cap to roof seal called? From the fiberglass front cap to the rubber? I am looking for something to replace mine on my trailer and it looks just like that.
How do you secure the Insert Molding? You mentioned that you don't do it like the factory because it attracts dirt etc, if the factory bends it and tucks it under the track to secure it how would you go to secure it or will it stay in place just by some caulk or screw to the molding itself?
Sorry for late reply, we still screw the insert molding in place and depending on the area. Self level and non sag Dicor, we also use Dicor cap sealant on some as well as boss rv silicone. I have some other videos that explains that, when you get a chance check out and let me know. Thanks again for watching.
@@yourrvspecialists Thank you - i used Dicor non-sag, the roof is (i think) TPMS, it has that funny texture on it - it seems the rubber roof restricts the products i can use there?
Thank you for such a detailed look at what we RVers need to look for in roof maintenance and repair.
That’s the most thorough cap inspection I’ve ever seen. Great job!
Thank you so much!
