watches this makes me wish when they made the game they made a reference to Kiryu's main suit in the series. the yakuza series and sleeping dogs are my favorite Asian action crime drama video games.
I didn't started playing Yakuza until recently and fell in love with it really quick, but I did play sleeping dogs when it came out, and I didn't know it back then, but this game did something amazing: the driving of gta, the half wacky half serious tone, random activities, and in depth unarmed combat system of Yakuza, and the great storytelling\crime thriller story of the Mafia series, it managed to combine all those aspects into an extremly well balanced and fun gaming experience, a game which I finishied it's main campaign again for like the 6th time this last week, maybe I am a bit biased since sleeping dogs is kind of a nostalgia for me, but it is still one of the best games out there in my opinion. I am very happy to say though, that I don't think that I am even done with a third of the campaign of Yakuza 0 (my first game in the series) and it already brings me that same nostalgic feeling! Here's hoping to be able to finish the next 7 games!
It's not a replacement for Sleeping Dogs, but the Yakuza series does have a spin-off that involves a cop as a main character. Haven't played it myself yet, but I'm definitely looking forward to getting my hands on it one day.

@@MJHeavenBound I didn't. You can replay missions even after you complete the game. I happened to have the suit when I decided to replay it.
