Never watched GI Joe or had the figures. But I think this figures awesome. His headsculpt fits the pig theme but he still looks tough. If I lived in America I think I’d collect the line or atleast get this one. Could be Bebop’s human form.
I am right with you on Road Pig there Kyle !! I was a huge Dreadknock fan . My Gi Joe wrestling league in the 80s saw the rest of the gang turn on Pig and beat him down out of jealousy , but eventually Road Pig became my champion who was damn near impossible to beat ! Man being a kid was fun . I wish this figure was in scale with the wrestling figures as he would look like a killer in the ring , until I got a look at that head on this one . That kind of disappoints me.
I believe those "cavities" are supposed to be capped, probably gold or something metallic. Always reminded of Australian Mark 'JackO' Jackson mix with any of the bad guys from "Road Warrior".
My road pig is scheduled to arrive today and this is the most excited ive been for a figure to show up. I know a lot of people are down on his face and pig masks. Ive watched a few different reviews of this figure and I think he looks awesome! Home run for me. Thanks for the review. Yo Joe!!!!
I remember seeing some custom made Road Pigs over the last couple years, before we got the official version, and this figure looks sooooooooo much better than every custom I've seen. No comparison really. This figure RULES. I don't get some people saying he's not big enough. He's friggin YUUUUGE and is easily the bulkiest figure in the line. I think Road Block, and Serpentor may be taller, but aint no one as beefy as the Pig. Look, these figures are never going to live up to everyone's expectations, but for me, Classified has been killing it the last three years, and I LOVE collecting this line. Great review as usual! You're the 🐐 of toy reviewers on the Tube Kyle!
I agreed with your take on this figure. I wish they made him an oversized juice monkey with meaner head sculpt. I would've made him the biggest character in the line. I do like the dog and weapons. I would've had a backpack tho. This is Lennys creation the look of the character and some of the ideas out of hasbro just don't make any sense. Especially the packaging. Right from the start they should've had the old packing artwork over the square shaped boxes they use now. And have the file cards. And every character should have a stand or hasbro should make them for sale. When I was a kid I had Snake Eyes and Outback as my main guys in the later end of the line. I had Fridge , Storm Shadow, and Muskrat against Road Pig, Croc Master etc. Outback to me was Chuck Norris and Fridge vs Road Pig was Rocky 4 ish for me. Miss those days.
I love this figure, but I agree with you about the stomach tattoo. I actually bought two of these because I knew that I wanted to remove that tattoo right away (I used acetone to remove it and there are some things that can go wrong with that method, so I wanted to have a spare just in case). The extra tattoos on his arms don't bother me nearly as much, so I'm going to leave them alone for now. I do think that Hasbro overdoes the tattoos on characters like this so that they can rerelease them later one with fewer tattoos as a Retro version. Road Pig was actually one of the last GI Joe figures that I remember seeing in a store, in 1988 or 89, and I thought he was really cool. Although I liked his face on the card artwork far more than the face on the actual action figure. I didn't buy him at the time, probably because I was in 10th or 11th grade by then and was probably feeling like I was "too old" to be buying toys; but most likely I was just broke and couldn't afford him. I don't really have a problem with the face that we got on this figure. Sure, he looks like a dumb bruiser, but I've always found dumb bruisers to be really fun characters. However, if Hasbro gives us a new headsculpt that is closer to that 1988 card artwork, for a Retro release, then I wouldn't complain at all. Overall, Road Pig is easily my favorite Classified figure right now.
I absolutely love this figure. Been seeing some very mixed reviews, though. I’d definitely pick up another if it gets marked down. One of my favorite figures of the year tbh.
I think it does say Dreadnoks? Maybe. Yeah hard to read. Overall I like this figure. The stomach tattoo is bad. Don't mind the face, because in my world he is a big bruiser and I went with the open mouth. May pose mine piledriving Duke. Would need a Duke though.
Brock Lesnar would make for a good Road Pig if there were to be a Joe spin -off movie about Zartan and the Dreadknocks which would be awesome if that happened !!!
You know, a lot of people discount the fact that Lenny has to push and prod and even fight to make some of these characters. He has to go before a board of some sort and justify the cost, especially if it's a figure with 100% brand new tooling. So yeah, they're going to reuse this chonk-a-saurus bod again and yes....I think it's going to be the Fridge. :)
I agree that the stomach tattoo and face sculpts are the weak points of the figure. But can’t pass up the chance to add Road Pig to the collection. Gonna be nice to reunite Road Pig and Gnawgahyde, the former World Tag Team Champions in my old fig fed. My brother had the original Road Pig when we were kids, but I missed out on him. But when they released the Sonic Fighters version, I definitely got him after seeing how cool the original was. So the Sonic Fighters version is the one I’m more familiar with, but sometimes he let me play with the original version of the figure. I’m hoping the do a Sonic Fighters version too and as you said, maybe they’ll do a retro card version with better head sculpts.
Mr.Peterson, try using a WWE Ultimate Brock Lesnsar figure. Maybe one of the heads of Brock can be a good custom substitute plus the sculpt figure of Brock might work.
It's terrible the way people are describing this particular figure and or head when that's exactly how Road Pig was in the comic books and then later on in the next DIC series. He's also slow and for lack of a better term mentally handicapped he wasn't very intelligent at all and he called himself by his own name in third-party speaking. The only thing I don't like is those tattoos I'm in all out nostalgic collector and though the figure has so much nostalgic properties it still takes away by having additional stuff like those tattoos. Just my opinion
@@giltucker2007but he is not on the carding for the action figure the line takes the most from. The Rock references him self in third person is he mentally slow?
Getting some pretty disappointing figures out of classified lately 🫤road pig, V2 storm shadow , alpine , retro cobra trooper ….V2 storm shadow looks like someone cosplaying as SS with a crappy fitting costume 😂 only thing “retro” about the trooper is the mask on his face and the color blue he is, road pigs head sculpts are terrible along with the stomach tattoo and making him a deluxe figure was totally unnecessary , alpine(the MOUNTAIN CLIMER) didn’t even come with a backpack!!!! His accessories are to much reuse alpine actually would have made a better deluxe figure then road pig …….alpine also has a crappy head sculpt
V2 Storm Shadow have had some pretty good reviews so far and looks a lot better than i first thought. Otherwise i agree with the others. But at least Raptor got an awesome upgrade
Seeing them in person, the head sculpts aren’t as bad as thought they’d be. But I definitely think he should have had a harder face, and just been really ugly. More like Marv from Sin City. That pig mask though. I can’t stop thinking he’s wearing it to chase the DIC around Porkbelly. Gnawgahyde better keep those two apart.
It’s the dreadnok’s gas station. In the comics books, the Dreadnoks have a home base: its that garage station.
Never watched GI Joe or had the figures.

Awe man can’t wait to get mine! Great share bro!

This looks like it could be my favorite figure of the year so far. Mine should be here tomorrow and I can’t wait.

The belly tat says "dreadnoks" and the teeth I think are gold cap type things 🤔
Damn man I was waiting for you to grab this one and review it. So sick and bad ass. Great review and action figure.
He looks ok. Mine gets delivered Monday! Great Review 👍🏼

I mean, he's kinda one of the biggest figures in the entire line. Who's beefier?
That face sculpt looks like Wreck it Ralph and I can’t unsee it!!
Bro, love the old look, frosted tips dialed in…
I cannot accept a Road Pig that no longer resembles Sven-Ole Thorsen.
Looking to Pre-order Mike Awesome.
Loved Road Pig back in my playing day. That cinder block weapon was just cool.
🇺🇸YO JOE!🇺🇲
Loved 80’s road pig
always thought he looked like the wrestler Dino Bravo to me
This figure looks like a tank. I have to get it Kyle...😃✌️💡
Yes bro
Nothing worse than that ole Dic disappointment 😂

He's the baconator!!
Obscure comment: that dog reminds me of Dangerous Toys' "That Dog". He's got mean tattoos 😃 Keep up the good work!
The OG Stormshadow is the best GI Joe Figure.
How's the scale next to a WWE figure? I want to buy it but I want to see if it is proportional to a Mattel or Jazzware figure.
I absolutely love this figure. Been seeing some very mixed reviews, though. I’d definitely pick up another if it gets marked down. One of my favorite figures of the year tbh.
🎃 👻 🎃 👻 Hey Kyle 👋 I still have my old 1989 Road pig with me till today can you believe it.
Think that body will be used for oktober guard horror show and slaughters Marauders taurus
What are the brand of figure stands you use? I need to get some
The belly tatto says Dreadknoks
I love you G.I Joe classified reviews.
William Perry is still alive. They should definitely make his figure.
They need to make a figurine for Colonel Robert Parker from WCW.

I’ve never once discounted that on my channel. In this case they could have saved money on paint apps leaving off the tattoo
Didn't the croc master have the same hook?
No

I think that dumb stomach tat says “mayhem” and yes Nail polish remover and a little elbow grease takes the tattoos off in 5 minutes
His head looks like a young Carl from Up!!!
Hi Kyle I’m rob 😅
Ironken 3000 is making a custom Road Pig using a Ultimate Brock Lesnar figure
Mr.Peterson, try using a WWE Ultimate Brock Lesnsar figure. Maybe one of the heads of Brock can be a good custom substitute plus the sculpt figure of Brock might work.
I’m just Not a custom guy
Dude I just bought it myself but it doesn't hold up to the old one....the head sculpt and the tattoo are major downfalls.

Just put a Brock Lesnar head on and use nail polish remover to get rid of Tattoo.
Not my style
I'll pass. Don't like this figure. Wish they would have made monkey wrench instead. But that's just me.
They completely effed up Road Pig. He’s not supposed to be a real pig.
Hate the face sculpts and that stupid helmet and mask
