Well done hon! I think this is the best video I have seen you make. It has creativity, artisanship, and true thrift. For those who cannot afford puff paint, outlining with actual hot glue and allowing to dry will create a three dimensional design you can then color with the sharpies. Of course old rick rack will do for the white. Plus the little guy himself can be made from cardboard, paper bags or even stacks of newspaper. Another way to shave off cost, is a substitute for the silicone surface. When a cutting board becomes seriously nicked it is no longer appropriate for food. For using a cutting knife, I use carefully cleaned old cutting boards. I also use them for decoupage, I just pin up and hang the fabric quickly so it doesn’t stick to the wood. In order not to scrape the table, I simply glue a sheet of felt to the back of the board. Once in a while I just sand down any nicks or glue!
