Together. You both are amazing! Thanks!
I always follow your tips and It really works. I some how was able to knock out a taekwondo guy in a street fight with no sparring, no marital art gym only by shadow boxing in my home and doing some mma workout from your videos
So Thanks A lot Shane
Tricking is just for fun and it makes your flips for parkour so much better

You guys look like family
Haha Think of me as the UK cousin lol
Pettis is an outdated example, Yair is the one guy now throwing TKD kicks as his main weapon
the two genius! Amazing!
is he your long lost ginger twin? great work lads.
I think Tricking has importance, as it is a form of human movement experimantalism. Carrying forward an attitude of pushing the envelope of capability allows all physical endeavors to prosper. Alongside MA's, we evolve together with an open mindset. Thats why the sport of MMA (and hopefully MA's as a whole) continues to change over time.
Wow he has over 600,00?! Back when I used to watch him he didn't have a lot lol! And with his channel growingand yours Shane, it looks like martial arts are finally starting to re-surface!!
Gnt n shane in same video..haaa...awesome...been following both of ya from long time..For combat SHANE n for flips n trick GNT
both 2 are my favourite youtuber
it would be a dream if they do something big !!
I use to do TKD. I miss having my flexibility. I want to be able to do the side splits again. Can you do a progression tutorial video on how I would be able to get that flexibility back?
Both are awesome ......
Gingerninjatrickster is a beast
Loving the music to his compilation video. My type period
I give this video a 10 out of 10. Hiphop just matches with any fucking thing.
Coming from a tricking background on the martial arts side GNT's explanation is sound. Tricking moves can have a time and a place where the opponent doesn't expect it but not be the first move you throw right off the bat.
And don't forget that martial arts trickers( vs non trained trickers aka backyard trickers but thats a whole other discussion) were trained to fight in competition & self defense before they started focusing on pushing body & technique limits with tricking.
i am very disapoited with sweet science boxing gear, they never delivered my order. I spended 183 USD , havent even recived a refund, and ita been more than 6 Weeks since i ordered....
I'm okay with tricking and fancy moves, I just don't like how it's like more than one spin per attack, because it's like running a joke in a standup routine for too long. Something like spinning back heel hook kick -> jumping spinning back heel hook kick, or jab -> straight -> doumawashi kaiten geri is way more up my alley.
He is
AWSOME.
Nice coop! Now we love to see some sparring!
most insane kicker out there.
#TeamGNT! All the way! :D
OOOH SHIT ! At first look I was sure you were gna say that's your brother or something, before you even said "What's up guys, Shane here !" Haha . 😂
the only one missing is kwonkicker. include him, the next time let him know.
I need to know what to look out for if someone with martial arts training attacks me. There's a high level karate guy that keeps threatening me over a woman and im just an average joe. Should i grapple with dude or what? Im assuming he probably kicks a lot and has me beat there..how can i neutralize this advantage?
hey guys that really cool and I want to see more
Finally!!
nice video, but perhaps radio mics or a boom? the projection wasn't 100
lets go baby
XD that gunshot surprised me!
FINALLY YOU COLAB :))))
I just think it's awesome that everyone I follow and subscribe to are also fans of each other
Now he has over 1.1 million subs❤️
people should try parkour or free running aswell. it teaches you how to improvise and move. I have been doing parkour for 4 years now and I just started kick boxing. I'm better than most people in my class right off the bat just from being able to learn fast and tell my body what to do quicker. tricking takes a pretty long time to get good at compared to parkour. fear is another element I feel gets reduced
I would love to try parkour, but my boring city has nothing special to offer, only sterotypical Martial arts(Karate, Tkd, krav, etc.)
Speaking as somebody who has a similar problem with a boring city offering nothing special (hell, I live in a tiny town that doesn't offer hardly anything); find any place where you can practice parkour. You can do it at playgrounds, in the woods, even in the comfort of your own home. Like OP said, parkour is about teaching you to IMPROVISE and move; what better way to improvise than to improvise a place to train at from the get go. Obviously, don't just go out on hard concrete and practice right off the bad, which is why I suggest a playground or the woods (especially a playground, because you have soft material you can land on.
If you don't have a special place to offer training at for parkour, make your own place, watch some tutorials on RUclips, and try it for yourself. If you have to, get something soft like a mattress to practice landing on if that's what makes you feel comfortable.
Free Think try local gymnastics gyms for open gyms on the weekend. trampoline parks are becoming super popular, that would be a good start for flips. if you want to do parkour then I would recommend these things. but if you just want to do it on the side. then outside might be you best bet. but flips should be done on a softer landing first. the people that hurt themselves alot are the people that don't care about risk and decide to do a trick they are not comfortable doing.
The thing is tricking develops far better body control then just doing the basics
What is the name of the martial art trickster does??? The flashy kicks?? Where do you learn that??????
only 2 people I watch on RUclips regularly
hey shane. im personally a boxer. what are some tips so if i got into a street fight i can make it more of a boxing match and keep them from taking me to the ground. not so much how to stay off the ground but more how to avoid the takedown completely and make them not want to do it again. for example if someone kept throwing kicks to the head blocking the kicks with your elbows and make them not want to kick anymore. any ideas. basically is there any nice counters for a basic takedown while staying on your feet.
+fightTIPS, I am a judoka and have a fight against a boxer this summer, any advice for getting through his punches and into the clinch?
spar against a boxer
Where can I find the video of this 900 kick that lands in a TKD competition ?
Shane reminding me to resubscribe to GNT. No wonder my 540's suck ass
hey Shane, can you do a 'how to fight like' episode about mark hunt?
Shane send a video of fast warm up before boxing!!!
what type of streching i should do to start doing high kicks ?
mani118a he made a video on it already
It builds fast twitch muscles. Explosiveness akin to box jumps or getting that Vince Carter like vertical leap. In turn faster kicks and more muscle stamina. It also is a good cardio as well. Using muscles you don't know you had. I practiced these when I was young and always was limping the next day. Very embarrassing in school. But the muscles in my legs are now more dense and can take a lot of punishment with a lot of speed. I practice more effective type kicks now but without the fancy work I did in the past. My legs wouldn't be as dense and powerful or faster without the tricking I done as a kid.
shane and GNT can pass off as twins
XD
Shane could you do a video explaining the power that cody garbrandt generates or how to fight like him
Would have been really sick if these two spar....i would gladly watch it xD
During a street fight, does wrestling benefit you in any way? Should wrestling be the beginning of the way you fight in a fight?
Still a Big fan of fightTips.
They could pass as brothers lol
They look like brothers
immediately subscribed him in the first minute
Badass
Shane I'm turning 5 years old next month is it to late too start learning mixed martial arts?
Your twin is so cool :O like as you!
I watch Gnt clips and fight tips
Wow "
Shane, I've heard that knuckle conditioning is bad if you haven't grown completely yet. Is this true? And if so, are other forms of conditioning as bad? (Anyone else, feel free to let me know)
What a about the cartilage?
skin doesnt get thicker though lol
nick nagel Yes it does, its called developing a callus
It's Shane's long lost brother!
Gnt is still right but a better explanation of tricking I feel is that it is a sport like freerunning but instead of flipping off obstacles it's kicks flips and twists etc, just because it involves martial arts people think it's a contact sport but it's purely aesthetic, people don't learn tricking to ko someone people learn tricking because it's fun and looks cool
Shane I have a question I want to start mma but there's no legit mma gyms in NYC so should I go learn martial arts separately.
Ameer Ali Thats what I'm doing
This is my opinion of course, but I'd actually recommend going to learn Martial Arts separately first regardless of whether there's an MMA gym nearby. Hone in your fundamentals, take Karate, Traditional TaeKwonDo (preferably ITF), or Muay Thai classes for a while, then take Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes for awhile. Of course, make sure you choose studios that teach quality technique and they Spar at least light contact, but don't worry if the studios also teach Kata or stuff that doesn't directly apply to the ring. After a few years of training at minimum, you'll really hone in and develop your skills which will relate to the octagon. Then go to a MMA gym. This is a the slower way of doing it, but it will pay off IMMENSELY. You'll have skills that separate you from the typical wannabe.
Stop by in Castleisland when you are in Kerry
It's Shane's long lost brother. lol
Shane it's your long lost brother!!!
2 SHANES? this must be shane promoting his younger brothers youtube channel
he is a cool guy
Fight like series?
Twins!!!
nice background music
wow nice collab
*GNT!* :-D
Holy crap, you learned Clone Jutsu!?
hey Shane is chicken catching a good exercise for boxing
tricking was never meant to be for fighting. Its a performance art with kicking elements in it, which elements COULD be practical. Insulting it for not being practical would be really stupid.
hey Shane, u should do a video with Scott Adkins
Cool haircut
Always will be a nice combo
Must make a new channel Fight tips with GNT . Hows that???
My fav RUclips (sorry Shane)
Make a hockey fight vid
GNT ya the man
Thank you for your support :)
And u shane 😂👍👊
I love tricking
