Pulling the header neck back is the hard one to do. Have done it with come alongs and hooked the pipe over a bench and pulled it from the other side, I should just finish the jig I have started to make.
Yes, agreed, pulling it back isn't easy. Luckily most of the time my pipes only need adjusting up/down/sideways and the method shown in the video works well for that.
Hello I'm having a big problem with my 2023 ktm C 250xc 2 stroke flywheel. Sometimes when I start my bike my flywheel misadjusts, causing the ignition timing to be off and not start the bike. I've tried tightening the nut to spec and using the locktite washer and red locktite liquid. Still comes loose. The nut and the flywheel stay tight but it misaligns the flywheel. This is also my 2nd flywheel as my first flywheel stripped completely. I don't know what to do l've tried a bunch of stuff. I'm thinking of either impacting my nut on or welding it. Happened to me twice today had to fix it in the trail
Remove the flywheel and check the woodruff key in the crankshaft. The woodruff key must either be missing, or sheared for the flywheel to be turning on the crankshaft
i just discovered the header of my ktm 250sx was bent last week. it even has a slight kink. pleased to find your video.

@@TokyoOffroad the woodruff key is missing. Does the part have to be bike specific? Because ktm doesn’t show a part number on the ignition diagram.

Hindsight I know but I wish I had taken a few critical measurements on my new pipes to know were and how much to bend.
Yes, you could do that. Although test fitting on the bike is quick and easy to understand whether adjustments are required.
