Your role is playing as bad guy running a Library with a books contains whatever knowledge of a guy who previously get killed and turned into book, and that's where it's start to introduce you to different section of the city and library itself. So yeah, It's like Brazil but in Korean dub I think.
I love how the opening words "Can you see the meaning inside yourself? Can you see the meaning in your darkness?" are pretty much the sum of the themes in the actual story.

Anyways, the reasoning behind the Gacha is that PM wants Limbus to become a sort of background income that allows them to create more games for the series. The gacha seems to be pretty forgiving as well, such as the Shard system allowing you to craft any identity (Or rather, character) you want. The identities also seem to be really cool, and the E.G.O mechanics as well. The game doesn’t seem to be some lazy cash-grab either, as the combat has quite a bit of depth to it despite being a watered-down Ruina (Coins, Effects only triggering on Head (Also a play on The Head), Sanity, Corrosion, Turn-order, etc) I like their ‘energy’ system as well (Enkephalin). If you fail a level, you will get back the Enkephalin you spent on it, allowing you to retry levels for free. That is really generous. As of right now with what they’ve revealed, it’s shaping up to be good. We don’t have all the info right now though, and who knows, it might turn out dogshit for a few months after release. But I think it’s best to give them a chance for now.

The lyrics honestly fit with the in-universe concept of Distorting/Manifesting E.G.O., what with the 'phantom', the voice, meaning inside yourself, etc. Very neat indeed
