- Nashville hoods are indeed dangerous places! This is my story of going to Nashville to study with Lenny Kravitz’s drummer “Zoro The Drummer” and I almost get robbed, beat up and stalked!

Omg, 😂 lmao I just choked on my apple cider reading this comment! 😆
Bwaaahahahahaha!!
Great story a little scary and funny at the same time. Thanks for sharing. 👍🤟
I wasn’t laughing at the time that’s for sure. But in hindsight site I can laugh! 😆
Amazing story Tim. I laughed out loud.
You really put me there while recalling the details of your situation.Glad to see everything worked out.
Enjoying your channel.
Thanks very much! Glad you’re enjoying the channel!
Great story Tim. Had me lmao ! 🥁😎
Thanks! Glad you liked it ☝️
I've been enjoying your stories!!!!! Nice deliveries .channel seems to be doing great!

Thanks Zeke, it’s kind of fallen into the story telling, lol. I have a million so guess it’s working, lol 😂
Whenever you have an experience like that and don't get killed, you're going to have a pretty good tale. Thanks for the chuckle Tim. Reminds me of the time the band rolled into The Pas Manitoba, saw the rooms and, unlike you, got right back into our bus and left town, never to return.
lol thanks. I really wanted those drum lessons!! I didn’t want to leave because of the lessons. I was desperate lol 😂
Crazy story man. How the hell do you get yourself into these situations? You should have just asked Zorro to sleep in his garage or on his driveway, you would have been better off. Lol 😂
lol I don’t know it just follows me. My son said the same things but he see’s it in real life. Like when I was at Costco and a teen girl ( I don’t know) runs up to me and says “dad I finally found you” my son was quite upset. Of course I left as her groupie mom approached ( lol) 😂
I'm surprised that Zorro didn't offer Tim a place to stay or at least advise him to get a different hotel.
@dougcallaghan6075 no he didn’t and I didn’t expect him too to be honest! I have done this with many drummers non have ever offered to stay at their homes.
All I can keep thinking of is that song Big bad Leroy Brown, maybe he's the same guy lol
Haha maybe!! That’s a great tune love it! Meaner than ol King Kong 🎶🎶
Baddest man in the whole dam town….
Meaner than a junkyard dog! 🐶
Zoro was in Nashville in Brentwood. You must have been in Antioch. You don't want to be there after dark!
Yes you’re right it was Brentwood! I just figured that out after talking to my wife! Not sure about Antioch but I’m sure you are probably right!!!
@drumteacher43 Antioch is just north of Brentwood and to the east down Old Hickory Blvd. It used to be nice neighborhoods 40 years ago but it's scary now!
@royvogt5086 yeah sounds like the right neighborhood. Thanks for sharing and reminding me.
You Brought This On Yourself. $79.95!! Seriously!! But Ya If That's The Worst Thing That Happened To You, Your Lycky!! Great Story Though!! Was Talking To Leroy, He Remembers It Differently!! Lol
Yes you are right $80 US is quite cheap even in 2013! lol I’m not surprised Leroy remembers it differently he might have been under the influence!!!
Uriah Heep song " Lorraine " hilarious story !!!!!!😂 😃 😄 😁 🤣 😂
Yes your right, haha 😆
Leeroy Kravitz
Lmao! Very nice 👍 could have been!
Tim, my dude. How many red flags do you need to see? I personally never would have checked in.
I think it’s because the hotels all around including the one I stayed in were all booked up. Nashville is a major entertainment city hotels get booked months in advance that’s number 1 reason secondary I tried to change rooms but non available 3rd reason I just thought I could tolerate it and things would get better! As a touring musician for 40 yrs I’ve stayed in some rough places on my own or with bandmates/crew so I thought it would have to do..condom was terrible though!!
@@drumteacher43 You're a braver man than I am! In 2016 I visited Nashville proper. It felt very safe with no bad vibes at all. I walked from Centennial Park all the way to downtown including Music Row and it was super chill.
OK, I'll ask the question that most would ask watching this...why would you not change hotels if you knew you were in a bad area? Why stay and risk theft or violence? If I found a condom anywhere in the room, that would be a showstopper (after I threw up). 🙂

@@drumteacher43 Thanks Tim. Glad you avoided further problems. What is "barking" by the way, as it relates to drumming? I haven't heard the term.
lol be careful you never know who or what is around the corner waiting
You got that right! Anything can happen anytime! You just never know!
You're not religious?
You should be after this.
lol 😂 complicates things too much
OMG! Glad you survived. Will keep your story in mind when I revisit. 😊🧑🦳
Thanks!! Stay out of the hood, lol
