Hey! I'm a bit late to this video, but I'll give you a simple explanation regardless.
This song was made as a sort of unofficial "Sweden song, unrelated to any specific event I think. They wrote in their description to the video, roughly translated;
"Since we were kids, we've all played football. Some of us longer than others. When we were in the middle of our teens we kind of lost interest and found other things in life, among those, music. But regardless of all, football's always been there. > I skip a lot of text here, towards the end of the description < The text speaks for itself. We know this is not the official song for SVFF (Swedish Football Association). But we hope it can become the official song for the people. For Sweden."
The lyrics is about cheering on our country. "Nu så är vi blå, så blå så blå, vi målar himlen gul och blå!", translates to "And now we're all blue, so blue, so blue, we paint the skies yellow and blue", the colours of the swedish flag. It also has some metaphors to love and stuff like that, as all Hov1 songs has.
Probably one of my favorite songs of them, it has a certain hype and vibe to it that's hard not to like. This is coming from a die-hard heavy metal fan by the way.
