Romanov descendant uses own BLOOD in watches to mourn Russian Revolution

Prince Rostislav Romanov, descendant of the Russian imperial Romanov family, unveiled a watch that incorporates his blood in the design in Moscow.
We want to use this watch as a symbol, as a remembrance of the revolution,” Romanov said, adding “as you can see here on the dial, the blackness is my blood.”
There are only five of the limited edition watches, which are not for sale. They will go to museums in Moscow and Saint Petersburg and will be given to a select few of the watch manufacturer Raketa’s clients.

I've seen a few interviews with Prince Rostislav, and was aware of these watches. He seems a decent, well meaning fellow, and no doubt he is sincere, but I'm afraid I find it a bit strange.

I love the Royal martyrs and have an icon of them in our icon corner, but I don't like this at all , it sounds to me like he is cashing in on his association with Royal family, its disgusting and he should feel ashamed

I think this Is something quite unique and unfortunately a piece of history that imo shouldn't have happened yes they did things wrong but then again they relied on other people to help them they helped them to their graves
