I find the second method easier. I just use a pocket psychrometer and a phone app to get target SH or SC. Seems lighter weight than hauling the floppy gauge set through someone's house.
Well the question is do you have to do this every time you go to different places? Or you can always re enter different WB after setting it the first time?
But this would be target super heat correct? Is that far of from actual? I have the sman 3 but not the 4 with real time so Ive never really seen how far off it is.

GFM Did you get the same WB reading with the digital meter (HT-86) compared to the wet sock method attached to the SMAN?
