Man, this era of the band and lineup with Clint Norris on bass and singing clean backing vocals was amazing. Frail Words Collapse, and Shadows Are Security will always be my favorite albums by AILD. I was a sophomore in highschool in 04 at a brand new school and my first friend I met there was Adam. Him and I became friends over skateboarding and music. I literally remember him handing me a burned cd of Frailed Words and told me you're going to like it. I was an instant fan and listened to that album every day driving to school. Watching this concert and hearing these songs brings back such good memories.
Same. I was a 8th grader in 2003. When frail words collapsed dropped. I got familiar with them through headbangers ball on mtv 2 with Jamey jasta from hatebreed as the host. Off the forever music video Wich was showing in 2002 before the album dropped. I saw them in 2004 with killswitch engage they were the headliners but in 05 killswitch brought them on tour & they were opening up for them with shadows falls
@@johnmoyarbmg5845dude, I remember the Confined music video used to be on heavy rotation on headbangers ball, too.. and before youtube we had this feature on our cable tv called on demand through Comcast cable which had like a rotation of 10 music videos that switched every month and I used to watch the video on their all the time too! From Autumn to Ashes was another band I was really into around the same time as AILD in 03-06. You're probably around the same age as me because I was in eighth grade in 02/03. 2004 was the year I really got into metalcore. Frail Words Collapse and Shadows Are Security are their best albums.

Man this is absolutely sick! Frail Words Collapse is my favorite AILD album, that era on Metalcore was so brutal, raw and melodic. I wish there was footage of just Jordan Mancino's drum cam too =( but it's still very well filmed and edited.
all the metalcore bands that we grew up with failed to maintain quality after their 2nd/3rd albums. ocean between us had a few good tracks. ADTR suffered the same fate. For those who have heart clears Homesick yet somehow someone’s buying these watered down records.
There's a good pro shot video of them playing Reflection live on RUclips from With Full Force Festival 2007 with a crazy epic circle pit by the crowd..

Sick AF!
What an era to be alive
They were killing it back then. Me and my cousin joked how Tim sounds like he had a mouthful of hotdog when he’s screaming. Good times
Falling On Deaf Ears is one of the most violent songs I have ever heard live.
That breakdown at 10:20 though *{::>_
Frail Words Collapse is 🔥
Nuts would have loved to see this
finally a live version of reflection!!!
There's a good pro shot video of them playing Reflection live on RUclips from With Full Force Festival 2007 with a crazy epic circle pit by the crowd..
Saw them when they opened for Killswitch Engage and Inflames in 2004 at the Backroom in Austin texas. So sick. Seen them 3 times since then
Holy f I never knew how good Clint sang live
Me too, I thought josh the Best one that AILD got
As i lay dying
man, we truly cannot keep good things.
This to me is metalcore - equally influenced by metal and hardcore with huge influences from the Swedish Melodeath scene.
