This is just brilliant! Denis ideas are fundamental to understanding how life (and evolution) really works.

Life is difficult. But the rarity of being human of all other creatures and being alive in this day and age is a blessing. In the Vivekacudamani Shankara states: rare is to be human, rarer yet a man, rarer yet to have a disposition to study scriptures, and rarer than this is to actually understand scriptures - you know, what all of this is and what it means.

What about Galton's quincunx bean machine; the difference in genotypes will converge on a central limit?

Evolutionary algorithms still require highly complex systems of copying code to be selected.
Living organisms are so complex that they have the flexibility to stay alive while evolving.
The antibody structure has basically a "random sequence generator for the tips which bind antigrns.

**Brownian motion**, also known as **pedesis**, refers to the random movement of particles suspended in a fluid (liquid or gas) resulting from their collision with the fast-moving molecules of the fluid. This phenomenon was first observed by the botanist **Robert Brown** in **1827**, when he noticed that pollen grains in water exhibited erratic motion.
    ### Key Characteristics of Brownian Motion:
    - **Randomness**: The motion is unpredictable and lacks any regular pattern.
    - **Scale**: Typically observed with small particles, such as pollen grains, dust particles, or colloidal particles.
    - **Temperature Dependence**: The intensity of the motion increases with the temperature of the fluid, as higher temperatures result in faster molecular motion.
    ### Applications:
    - **Physics and Chemistry**: Provides evidence for the kinetic theory of matter and molecular motion.
    - **Finance**: Mathematical models of Brownian motion are used to describe stock prices and financial markets in models like the **Geometric Brownian Motion** used in **Black-Scholes** option pricing.
    - **Biology**: Explains the movement of microorganisms and particles within cells.
Understanding Brownian motion has been crucial in the development of statistical mechanics and has had wide-ranging applications across various scientific fields.

@jelleludolf That's like saying Stephen Jay Gould and Dawkins were allies in the search for truth. All stirring intellects for sure, but with fundamental differences in how evolution works in their respective points-of-view.

I've been reading denis off&on for a while now but this video both crystallized some of his views for me and at the same time struck a chord with some of what I've seen from Michael Levin. I thought wouldn't it be great if they got together. But wait, I thought maybe they already have and sure enough: ruclips.net/video/0_Ak-1rbbWg/видео.html

It seems we often overlook what successful organisms we are. It would appear that this success is destined to continue. The best crystal ball for predicting where we are going is to simply look at where we want to go.

Well phase 1 took 2 years
    Phase 2 about 1.5
    I think I’ll overlap phase 3 and 4
    Remember
    All bleeding stops
All things come to an end
    How to proceed?
    Choices!

    "Random Stochasticity?"
Random Stochasticity does not exist in this Physical World being strictly driven by a program, described as "Natural Laws", designed by our loving Creator...
Randomness, Emergence, or Accidental Evolution is nothing but a made-up product by people with "Erronous Conscience by Choice" who does not want ACCOUNTABILITY...
However, our free aware immortal souls were not designed nor created but are free splits of the Holy Spirit.... We are responsible for the occurences of many unintended stochasticities in this Physical World because of our free choice to do evil or to do good....
...cancer, diseases, et al, could be the negative effect of stochasticity caused by frequency or vibration coming from people's choice to do evil...
...it is a great risk for your health to be around these negative Godless Immoral people.... but, having sincere faith in a loving GOD can protect you from these unhealthy effects...
