Hope "Bishop" and "Chicago" succeed in developing the chess park. Would be good to see younger generation getting involved. ❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿😎

It’s crazy I passed by that new chess park over 100 times and never played over there. I mostly play at slowpokes on occasions that’s crazy I might go over there this weekend.

I like how southern street chess players/chess hustlers play more regular traditional chess without the clocks, more methodical pace and test your wits in overall chess game. It's cool that different regions got there own style , flavor and culture when it comes to street chess and street chess players.

personally i find standard better than no time control. 60 mins or more per side is definitely enough time to think so worrying about running out of time is hardly a concern most of the times, but the idea of a limit is still there, without losing the aspect of thinking thoroughly

I love the talking/banter while in play here. Maybe a little "creative trash talking" can put some good life into the game for a while? Just keep good values, and hope it catches on. :)
Don't forget, this game is all about the individual, and that means a lot. :)

I love how they are playing with a dubrovnik set - this man has great taste in pieces. I also love the Hungarian and Austrian coffee house sets. If there was more equity and black people had the same access to jobs that white nerds from the rich suburbs have (who 95% of the time give jobs to other rich white kids from the suburbs) we would have as many or more black GMs. The only variable here is poverty and wealth. If you’re poor you don’t have as much time or energy to sit and play chess you’re always stressed and you always have to work. This isn’t actually about black or white it’s rich and poor but wealthy people don’t like to admit that it’s about class - that’s why they give money to charity it makes them feel better about indirectly exploiting the poor
