Hi, We are going to visit next week. Can you say if the view of Petronas from the pool is still visible? ( hope some new construction haven’t blocked the view). When did you visit?
The hotel page doesn’t show petronas view

Most of the times at Cholas the spice kitchen which is a good indian restaurant

Did you pay any deposit in the hotel? Many reviews state that they had to pay 500 ringgit refundable deposit
Also was lift easy to get as overcrowded reviews are many?
Yes we paid deposit, they accept any currency and it was refundable. Its just because they make sure you don’t eat that banned fruit (durian) in hotel room. We stayed for 5 days and never found the lift overcrowded as there is 4 of them.

the face suites, and theface suites 2 are different. They sitting next to each other but the face suites 2 has the much much nicer view

i don’t remember opening time, probably 11am but closing was past midnight 1am
Proper swimming costumes are mandatory in the pool or you can wear anything?

Malaysia hotels' hygiene and cleanliness controls are relative poor especially AirBnB.
book stay for more than a $100/night to avoid such issues anywhere
Don't blame Malaysian hotels, blame your poor ability to choose good hotels. PS: many hygiene issues are due to Chinese tourists, so you should lecture your people instead of bashing on Malaysia
