Welcome to another episode of Forgotten Media. There is alot of stuff from different medias that were forgotten and nobody remembers them anymore, and I'm here to show stuff that time forgot.
Remember how Mario had a list of cancelled games? Now it's Sonic the Hedgehog's turn.
I wonder, why Sega didn't cancel Sonic 06? :/
Sonic 06 is too amazing...
Sonic 06 would be better if it was in development longer to fix the remaining glitches and bugs, the reason why Sega didn't do that is because the game was rushed for the Christmas Special.

2:36, actually there was a short lived spin off Archie comic called sonic kids which featured baby versions of sonic and his friends. it's a issue that I do think should have been reviewed and mentioned in your forgotten issues video.

You could do a forgotten media on the cancelled Crash Bandicoot games Crash Landed, Cortex Chaos, Crush Bandicoot, and Crash Twinsanity 2.

I just noticed now that STI was developing it the same time as Sonic Xtreme, and was it's own game. So you are right.
What I find weird is that even though there was two Sonic SatAM games that got cancelled, we did get a game that was based off of Sonic SatAM: it's called Sonic Spinball.
You'd be surprised at how many of these games were related to Sonic X-Treme. I can't recall them off the top of my head, but MiiYouandMii2 did an entire trilogy on X-Treme's long (and somewhat depressing) development cycle that ultimately ended in tragedy.
Would you consider some oddworld ideas to be forgotten media?
They had lots of ideas that were scrapped with left out features and arts.

Joyful Jaiden studios is a lost company and the Liu Kang and raiden show is cancelled because it was too similar to mortal komedy

About 50 seconds long or a minute. Course it depends with all the different styles of his intro's that he's made.
Sonic 16 for the Sega Genesis was the First Pitch, The Untitled Sonic 3D Game was the Second Pitch, and Sonic Mars for the Sega 32X was the Third Pitch. That was all 3 Different Pitches of Sonic X-treme.
Big had 2 cameos in Sonic and the Black Knight; a mask modeled after his face and a fishing pole with the description meantioning "something special" refering to froggy.
Rouge and the Chaotix are recurring characters that all apeared in Generations.
Silver Sonic had a cameo in SA1 while Tikal has had multiple meantions post SA1.
Gamma is meantioned by Omega in heroes and appears as Chaos Gamma in Battle.
Mecha Sonic was redesigned as Neo Metal Sonic, which is Metal's form in heroes.
Sonic has had many concept designs, many of which were turned into actual characters. I believe this would be interesting to talk about.
Sonic went through many designs, incuding the rabbit and an armadillo. SEGA eventally went with a hedgehog design for Sonic, and the armadillo became Mighty.

That's weird... of ALL of the Sonic Comics, you managed to bring up the ONLY ONE I EVER bought. That's just really ironic.
It would've been interesting & cute to see Sonic actually having a little sister he never thought he had, he would've been such a caring & protective big bro to her.
I think that when Sonic X-treme got cancelled, that is when I felt that the Sonic franchise went downhill and it has only been the release of Sonic Colors and Sonic Generations in the last few years when the sonic games have finally got up to where they should have been long ago.
While it's not mandatory, here's some I can think of: Barney the Dog, Kidsongs, Peter and the Magic Egg, Song City, Skunk Fu, and Really Wild Animals

Hey that wasn't Tiara's only apparence. Did you forget the epic master piece story called "Inter-Franchise Death Course Of Doom Battle Race" where Tiara was one of the primary characters and wound up being a tragic villain due to being forever lost in obscurity?
... Okay, that's a story me and Alex Warlorn created like over a year ago but it still counts!

Sonic 16 bit actually looked kind of cool XD Maybe a bit slow, but still pretty creative, and I think a lot of people would appreciate a SatAm game.

I kinda wanna see Tiara appear somewhere in the games. I feel like she could have an interesting back story and be a well rounded addition to the sonic universe
Sonic Crackers wasn't a cancelled game it was a prototype used to test out the capabilities of the gameplay used in Knuckles Chaotix (which was originally going to feature Sonic). Sonic Crackers is available to play as a rom and is very easy to obtain/download.
Other than that, I found the rest of the video pretty informative. I was not aware of Tiara having existing gameplay.
He's still right though. When Sonic the Hedgehog was being created, it was originally going to be Mighty the Armadillo. Proof of that is the fact people have managed to go into the game's data and get his model. For whatever reason, they decided to make a blue hedgehog instead of a red armadillo. :P
He did appear as a second-to-last boss in Sonic Triple Trouble, but yeah he needs to be in more games.

Granted that NOBODY seems to appreciate the series the same way I have, but to each their own.
Tiara B also has a background cameo in STH No 138. Shes in the scene set in Uncle Chuck's looking at menu.
He wasn't a cameo in Knuckles' Chaotix, he was a major charachter in that game.
i remember reading about sonic x-treme on wiki, it was cancelled because of several delays due too change in technology, new ideas and the team being replaced and the new team made a whole new version that looked embarrassing, needless to say after several years of getting almost no where, sega decided it would be best to simply scrap the project

The Kraken from "Sonic Mars" was in the Ocean View track of "Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed".

Kids next door had a long and decent run that it managed to finish, Grim and Evil Split, the Grim adventures of Billy and Mandy was more succesful than the Evil Concarne counter part, but the Evil Concarne was already done.

I'm not sure if you're doing requests, but a game that came out but no one knows and the company collapsed would be: Ranger X or Ex-Ranza in europe. It's a fantastic game that was basically the only game made by Gau before it collapsed. It was really really good but no one knows of.
In Sonic X-treme the professors name is complicated, but his daughters name isn't.......yep, makes TOTAL sense!!
No, Sonic Unleashed was originally intended to be Sonic Adventure 3. Yuji Naka stated it in an interview.
Imagine this: Phillips Fantasy Factory went ahead and released Sonic Mars for the Phillips CD-i.
Sonic X-treme sounds like it could've been a great game, I would play it and probably love it, and Tiara probably would've become a character in the series, aw well I guess

Heck it's probaly the defintionton of not forgotten media as the new series could be due to fan dedication of the originonal show.
Sonic Mars needs to be revived, it would be cool to see the comic/SatAM characters in a game. Hell, maybe they can make it into the main stream games, or have their own series and make Mobius the main talk of the Sonic Universe! I can see it now, the designs looked REALLY good as a stretch, as if it was going to be for a DS or something. The story could be really good and bring back my FAVORITE CHARACTER, BEAAAAAAAAN!!
Well actually, a lot of Sonic games from 03-08 were originally SA3, Sonic Heroes, Sonic 06, and even Sonic Unleashed (probably more) were originally Sonic Adventure 3.

say that the game is lesser due to a story line that isn't kept simple. Ever since i first played sonic I've indulged in any additional information regarding the characters and the adventure series gave me much more. Emotions and attitudes for the characters and a little bit of back story here and there. The first sonic game i ever played though was Sonic CD and i loved that too so there really shouldn't be a debate at all, Sonic is awesome and enjoy what we get
Another thing, Fang the sniper is a great character I wonder why he's not appeared in more games, he's a perfect villain to team with robotnik for diamonds gold or other treasure value since he's a treasure hunter like rouge the bat

It mainly because on how the story is rushed, Ken Penders dumb ideas and that the artwork is just out of place. It's in this serious story and yet every character has this over the top expression which makes it hard to try and read it seriously with all these goofy faces all around

I wanted to play Sonic X-Treme for Tiara's action stages, it was an amazing gameplay idea and I think it was a waste that it wasn't used

Sonic Spinball was based on the Archie series, so I guess they got a game for themselves after all.
I would have to agree with you on this, it's the main reason colors was one of the most uninteresting sonic titles to me. Barely any story, no other characters again, and just being sonic unleashed without the warehog, and I don't know how you feel about it, but te warehog was the main reason I wanted unleashed. Back to colors, besides all that, being cheesy didn't help(sonic made Gex look like Richard Pryor here) and most of the soundtrack sucked.

if generations did one thing right it was the remixes of the boss fights... i LOVED fighting metal sonic again but i missed the original racing theme of the fight sure you are running but its more of running away from metal sonic than running to beat him to the end. A notable mention is the perfect Chaos battle without super sonic was a nice touch, but again... it could have been amazingly put together and had all the enemies from the past play a role in the story
Now that i've seen the whole video, a lot of these unreleased looked pretty interesting, especially 3:12 and 5:11. I already knew of E-treme but not Extreme(lol). I have a special interest in the SatAM based game where sonic was using stealth, cause I think I can make that game using Open Beats of Rage, and the song I'm playing now, Velocity by Supertweeker, would make a good theme for it. I'll have to think more about it, but I already have ideas, as far as gameplay.

I have a sonic game for the pc. It still holds up fine with Virtual fighter 1 for pc and bug for pc. I don't know anyone else who has those versions, but if my computing speed was up there back in the dotcomboom I would had enjoyed it a lot. But now its just a thing of the past. What a shame.
Kind of wish one of those Sat AM based games had been released. It's funny Sally is a popular character but has never been in any of the games.

I thought the reason for sonic Xtreme being cancelled was because one of the workers for the game died of trying to get the game finished?

That's definately not forgotten media, though it doesn't come on Cartoonetwork frequently it definately does every single day on Boomerang, it shows two episodes on week nights and two episodes on weekend afternoon. Just around last week that Teen Titans trouble in Tokyo showed on Cartoonetwork, plus this year the show is getting a new series called Teen Titans Go! In supposdely few months from now.
