After that first section, I was SOLD! This is exactly what I need. If I can achieve these results, I'll toss my flat iron.
And the results last! Best to you!
@@SimplyTamika so humidity doesn't destroy the results or is there a secret to that? How do you set your hair at night if you want to wear it straight without flat ironing it?
@@sable7114 humidity doesn’t destroy My results either.
@@sable7114 She would need to wrap it and put a scarf on it to keep it laying flat.
@@jbb8261 what? Do you guys live in a humid area?
I just randomly found your detailed vid on how to use the old one about a week ago. it's THEE best guideline on how to get the hair straight. I literally thought "they better send her the new one so she can give us the tea!" and here you are!
This made me smile 😃 Yes. I really like the new technology, especially since it’s lighter and easier to use!
@@SimplyTamika did you use heat protectant before drying?
I would never flat/iron silk press my daughter’s hair if I could get it this straight this quick!
Yes. I feel ya. It straightens like a dream!
@@SimplyTamika i have a question.
Can you blow your hairs before your wash day ?
Or not and why?
We invested in one about 1.5 yrs ago. Love it because our daughter's hair was close to waist length at the age of 2 and I did not want to leave her hair to air dry and she responded well to a dryer on cool setting. She's 4 now and no fuss 🙂
Awesome 👏🏽 RevAir makes doing children’s hair a breeze.
Are you going to try the new one? I’m glad I waited to purchase. I almost bought a used one from poshmark for $300
@@757Princess OOP 300 for an used one?? excuse me? i would just go ahead and spend a 100 extra just for a brand new one glad you decided not to buy it, wonder how much this one costs tho
it was $435 with the discount and $50 shipping
@@tsuyuasui7297 I sold my used one for $275. They have huge resale value because the cheapest they get is around $359 during Black Friday
From one professional to another, I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL. literally feels like I’m in class. I’ve also never seen anyone use the revair so flawlessly! Love to see it. Thank you for all your work and sharing knowledge.
Yay, thanks so much. I've used my original Revair on four separate occasions and never managed to get my roots straight no matter what I tried, but after watching this video I used it again and my roots are 100% straight. My ends are still a bit textured but that's okay. I just really wanted my roots straight and your technique gave me the results I was looking for. :) I somehow managed to put my hair into two plaits for the first time too (couldn't flat braid the front though, maybe next time lol)!
Transitioning from a relaxer and considering this device now that I've wanted this video. Love how the edges lay flat.
This can certainly help.
You got that hair the straightest that I’ve seen using the rev air! Great job!
Awwww. Thank you ☺️
I love how you don’t have to worry about high heat on your skin. I slightly burned myself a few times using traditional dryers once the nozzle would face my metal necklaces. And comb attachments just break off curly hair. I will be saving up for this to be my new blow dryer. 😌
I think you'll love it!
I just ordered this to use for my sons waist length hair. He used to scream when I would blow dry his hair. I can’t wait to use this. The tips you gave, I know, will be a life saver. In almost every review video, the people are pumping. Thank you so much for this video!
Whatttttttt I’m shook I didn’t know they upgraded the Revair wow! I have the old one and I love it! I was deciding on the Dyson but now that this is out I might need to rethink. Thank you for this review!
Edit: dang the results were amazing!
Awwww. Thank you ☺️ As you can see, I love the new version.
Wow!!! Look how far we have come. I’m ordering one today!! Thanks for being a great teacher.
Your tutorial is the best one yet. The other ones used it too quick you are a professional with it thanks
Thank you! This vid was exactly what I was looking for! Mine just came in the mail, and I'm new to the RevAir. Thank you for all helpful the tips. Can't wait to try it out right now! ❤️
This Revair company is so awesome! I have the original one and the new 2.0 version! I haven't used my new one yet but I'm really excited to try it! Great video btw! Her results are GORGEOUS and your so informative and easy to follow! 😍🙌🏾 Thanks for posting this!
Awwww. Thank you.
I’m obsessed with these results! 😍
Hi Tamika! You did a wonderful job on her hair! Her hair is so long, healthy & beautiful! Great video!
Awwww. Thank you ☺️
@@SimplyTamika You're welcome,Tamika!
I ordered the older version because of you and now I want the new one omg
Thank you for this real time review! I read some of the 1 star reviews and got a bit concerned but the methodology you showed concerning use really helped me understand what people may have been doing incorrectly. Surely it won’t work for everyone but this review you did was helpful! ☺️
Thank you for sharing. Love the volume and how silky it looks. Beautiful
Wonderful! My husband just got me one for my birthday and it should be here today.
Awesome. I hope you love it.
Lucky you. We can’t get it in the uk from the website 🙁
@@adinasqueendomshire961 oh so i guess it wouldn’t be available for europe top then.
Wow! I've been waiting to get one of these. I've waited to buy one bcuz its been rumored for awhile that new model was coming that was smaller and here it is! Impressive!!
Glad you waited. Thanks 😊
Mine is sitting in its shipping box in my closet, lol. I do NOT wanna wash my hair but I just knew I needed it. You've given me hope. Thank you for the helpful and succinct demo!
Send it to me!!
This is great, thank you so much! I have been so frustrated trying to figure out how to best use this machine. Now I can keep it!
Glad I could help! You're very welcome.
I hope they sell this in the UK 😁
Thank you for the review, I just received mines and I can't wait to use it!!!

Best demo video for REVAIR use on type 4c hair that I have seen. Can’t wait for my REVAIR to be delivered
Thank you 🙏🏾 ❤️
I just ordered mines…thanks for making this
Awesome. 👏🏽
Her hair is beautiful and thank you for doing this! :) For actually showing it.
I'm considering it, but don't want to drop that much and it doesn't do what I need.
You’re welcome. I understand completely. They do have a great return policy.
Hi. Which temp was this used on?
Hi Tamika, I used your code to buy mine recently so thank you so much 💕💕💕💕💕
Thank you for showing the correct way to use this device. I might purchase it now.
You are so welcome!
I'm so thankful for your upload.
I’m buying this today. I didn’t know it existed and I’ve been getting roller sets and blowouts, burning the hell out of my scalp, for years. And my hair is way too long to do it myself.
They can take my money. 💅🏽
It’s a great hair dryer. Just remember there is a bit of a learning curve. Have fun!
Thanks so much for demonstrating!! 🌟 I was contemplating on buying this or the Revlon pro type. 🤔 I’m thinking this may help prevent heat damage.. and I’m lazy..I have 4C…this seems simple.
Tamika - You are a RevAir MASTER! Look at those gorgeous results!!!
Thank you so much! 🥰
Her hair is Beautiful you have done a great job with her hair 💗
Thank you 😊
I have the first one, I love it!!! It's big & bulky but it's amazing!❤️
Her hair looks fantastic! Is there a smell from using the revair? When I used traditional blow dryers in the past my hair always had a smell afterwards. Thank you!
Thank you for the video. I just bought one and haven’t used it yet. I would usually let my hair air dry, but it always means I have to detangle AGAIN and more pulling on my tender scalp. I can’t wait to unpack it.
Hope you like it!
I just brought the new revair and I’m so excited
I just bought the old one Several months ago. I love the smaller size of the new one.
It’s much lighter and quieter than the old version.
This looks great! But so have one. Did she have some heat damaged strains before this revair session?
guuuuuuurl you sold that! I was searching for a tutorial and saw your name is Tamika so I had to trust :) -Tameeka
You have the best rev air tutorial
Awwww. Thank you ☺️
@@SimplyTamika have your daughter or any other clients ever gotten heatdamage from the rev air? I'm The rev air I'd an investment I want
Is this better for your hair than the regular blow dryer? No heat damage?
I've been wanting one for a while. Glass the upgrade is it. I just placed an order so had to cover back and say thanks for the code
You’re welcome. Enjoy 😉
Just bought it this morning. I was trying to find a video to see about the new product, so I’m happy this popped up!!
Excited to try it, and shout out for the code! 🙌🏾🙌🏾
Awesome and thank you very much!
Was looking in the product session for the heat protectant used. Also, besides the protectant, did you use a leave in. Thanks for the demo, but I also am aware the prep prior to using is just as important if not more. Thank you, just purchased one & want to ensure, I am prepping mu hair correctly. She has a finer texture then myself.
Very good questions Demi!
What heat protectant did you use, and why did you stop using the RevAir primer?
Great demo! How do you reduce frizzy ends if you don’t regularly straighten your hair?
I just ordered mines and used your code thank you❤!
What’s the best primer to use? I have 4C hair but my hair is fine.
Very nice. Thank you for the review. Would you use this blow dryer as a first step for a silk press?
Thanks.
Thank you and yes, I do use the RevAir as the first step before a silk press.
Does it always come out straight? Can you maintain some of the coils or curls?
I just want to say thank you for showing me how to use my Revair when I got mine in 2020. I'm going to buy the new one because it's easier to travel with. Thanks again.😇💃💥🤗💚💛🧡❤️🖤
Hello. I'd like to know what heat protection did you uses. Thank you
Hello Tamika! Long time no chat. Hope all is well for you and family. What leave in and heat protectant did you use. Apologize if I overlooked those details.
I may need to invest in one of these! Hey sis, I hope all is well with you guys.
Yes. It’s the best. We are doing great. I hope you and you fam are well too!!
Can’t wait to be able to afford one. It’s a good investment
Indeed it is. Get on the payment plan if you can.
Can you do a video on up keep or cleaning it? Like the filter?
Hi! I love the tutorial! I noticed in your BIO it states to be announced soon for the heat protectant! I’m looking forward to that
Thank you and yes, announcement coming in the near future!
@@SimplyTamika 🎉🎉
I have the old Revair. Is the hose on the new version shorter? I'm just wondering if I could travel with the new Revair. Thank you!
The hose is shorter which makes it easier to handle. It’s not as heavy either.
My husband just bought this for me literally 2 hours ago!!😍😍😍
Hope you like it!
What a thoughtful husband
My husband got me one yesterday for my birthday 😊
Thanks so much for this tutorial! I have the old one and stopped using it because my ends would get tangled. Is using the comb when finishing a section the key to preventing tangles?
You’re welcome. You probably need to lower the speed. Sometimes hair will get tangled if the speed is too high especially for fine hair. Don’t leave the wand on for too long and yes the comb does help prevent the tangles as well.
Do you add product onto the hair before you use the revair ?
I really need this for me and my daughter. Your daughter hair is just beautiful without a flatiron. Tamika, do you know of any hair products that does not have any kind of nuts in them that will work on straight hair? my daughter wants to wear her hair straight this year since this is her last year in school but allergic to all nuts. I know you know lots of products that's why I'm asking you.
I've watched your other video when you used the Revair on your daughter's hair to get it just like this and I can't get it this silky to save my life. I've had the Revair for 2 yrs and I like it but I need so much practice so I'll continue to watch your videos.
Thanks. It’s a learning curve. Using the right products the right settings, the length of time to leave it on, size of sections etc. I kind of had an advantage because I used it almost everyday and on differs lengths and textures of hair.
Her daughter is also heat trained so her hair will come out smoother than someone who just uses heat regularly.
What did you add to the hair before you started? I heard you shouldn’t use it with oils or creams
1 second ago
Very torn. I'm used to sickly smooth blow out. However because I have weak hands this might be the right thing for me! And worth the investment. Thank you for the review
My hair is curly like hers, i just order it and its still in the box ...i cant wait to use it now that i seen these results on her hair...is the hair suppose to be a lil damp
Hâte de l’essayer 😍
Can you share what products she uses in her hair? My daughter has similar texture/curl and I cannot keep it hydrated for the life of me.
What heat protectant did you use? I have the origional
Alright. I NEED IT!!
Just purchased mine and used your code - since your video is what convinced me to buy it!
This looks lovely. Ive seen revair videos with 4c and it doesnt turn out like this 🤷🏽♀️. So I would definitely need a silk press etc.
Thanks!
Right, I'm definitely about to get this I have a mix of 4b/4c hair and just seeing the different textures of it I already know I'm still gonna need a silk press for it to be straight, straight lol!
Wow it got the hair very straight!
That’s what I love about it!
Which heat protection did you use?
Please share with us which leave in and heat protectant you used. 🙏🏽
I will soon 😚
Your Daughter is gorgeous ❤and her hair is beautiful 😍
Thank you so much for this video
Though i love the dryer my 4c hair isn’t this straight! Her hair is beautiful!! ❤❤❤
Tamika, you did a beautiful job with the new RevAir. I really would like to purchase, however my issue was with dryness. I used a spray on heat protectant. What do you recommend for heat protection? How do you keep it straight in the dead of Summer? Thank you for sharing!
The spray heat protectant is fine. I do prefer to use silicone based ones. Try using a light and creamy leave in on your hair prior to putting on the heat protectant. That should soften the hair a great deal and provide an extra layer of protection. To keep hair as straight as possible in the hotter months, you have make sure tie your hair up nightly. Try bunning your hair or even wrapping g your hair to keep it straight.
@@SimplyTamika Thanks! Do you have recommendations for a silicone based heat protectant?
@@mjgarner123 Sabino Moisture Block is an excellent one. I've been using it for over a decade. Don't let the name fool you though. It does block out excess moisture for humidity control but locks in essential moisture for hair health. I like it because it's just 2 pure high quality cosmetic grade silicones. No fillers to dry the hair out. No I'm not affiliated with the company I just love this stuff and I use to email back and forward with the owner/creator of the product, Victor Sabino, so I learned a lot about it and best usage.
Tamika knows about this product because it was all the rage for awhile on Long Haircare Forum when we were both members there.🙂
What kind of product did u add to her hair before the process?
Thank you!!❤
Do the old version work like the new version?
How much difference is there between the new Revair and old Revair reverse hairdryer? I can only get my hands on the original one through EBay sellers in the U.K. and they have issues with these hairdryers working in the U.K. 😭
I’m buying it now!!!
I really think you will enjoy it. Just remember, it takes a few tries to get the knack for it.
Do you think with constant use this will cause heat damage? Have you had any issues with heat damage. Thanks
At the end of the day, it’s still heat so you have to take the same precautions as you would with a traditional blow dryer.
The same lady from your other video!
Thank you for this. Just marvelous
Yep. She's my daughter.
@@SimplyTamika OMG. She is gorgeous!!!! I love it!!! I would use mine as a model too!!! HAAA
I love your review
Your daughter has beautiful, wavy soft hair naturally.
But my hair is very kinky 3C hair
Do you think this will work good on my hair with similar results?
It looks like it gives smoother results than the old version based on comparing the videos. Is that really the case or is it a difference in products and/or hair condition
I have improved my technique a great deal since making my videos with the old RevAir. I also used new product on her hair.
Where's the link to see her hair straightened afterwards? Lol
I'm invested and thinking about investing in a Revair.
Yup I need this my blower broke so this is a sign
yesss I wish you could do mines
There's no need for flat ironing...this dryer gets it straight enough. It gets the hair so smooth and soft already I haven't purchased one yet, it looks like you would have to actually use it a few times to get the hang of it because I haven't used a blow dryer in years! What setting do you use if you want more volume to the hair and not bone straight?
We need this video for 4c hair please 😭🙏🏾
