Every time I watch your videos I learn more and gain confidence as a gardener in a warmer climate. My zone 9b central CA garden isn’t quite as warm as yours, but more of your info is applicable than not. My 3 yr old granddaughter planted peas with me last week. She is so excited to see her seedlings sprouting. She usually harvests and eats her peas as soon as she finds them on the plants. Many thanks.

I live in zone 7b/8a in Central West TX and not as hot as you - thank god! I enjoy listening/learning from you and your passion comes through in your videos every time. 💛

I really appreciate how you care for the soil life using worms, compost, and mulch.
We are up here by the White Mountains zone 6b, so frost is due much earlier and winter is much colder. Still, your advice works, just have to speed up compared to the valley.
One thing that works and is free is creating planting zai holes and building juniper surrounds. The boughs make a mini shade structure that can support a coarse straw mulch cocoon for frost protection 🤩

Thank you so much for what you do. I've learned some things from watching your videos. I've still got a ways to go because each year, I ay I'm done with trying to grow things here, but I just can't give it up. Thanks, again!👍
