You should know that the upper level Gibsons are all great guitars but, there is still variety in how they sound. Mine is one of the light built with hide glue reissues. Not a standard. It sounded just as good the ONE Murphy Lab that was in the shop. Whether it sounds as good as the Murphy Labs you have played remains to be seen (heard). Maybe it does, maybe it doesn’t.
This is a perfect example of how an acoustic guitar should sound

I have the 1960 Vintage reissue and it is great. I have played one of these and it’s a fine guitar but mine is at least as good and was $2000 cheaper.
