Yo ive been watching your videos for the past couple months after going back to watching tronicsfix after a year and taking the plunge and spending about 1k-1.5. I enjoy ur videos and have been refurbishing original Xbox’s only as it was my childhood console and that platforms games were great. Anyways I don’t see u repair original Xbox’s often but when u do if u have a disc drive failure do u get drive from a console that was stripped by u or someone else or do u have a recommendation for a new disc drive?
i'd be interested to know the value for those CPU caps if they are not 1uf as that's what gets posted on forums when people ask. Whether it's right or not, who knows, as I can't find a good authoritative source for that value and people just copy pasting what they read elsewhere

At 13:35 are you heating the bottom of the board with the emmc shield on or off?
