This song IS being performed by Kenny Vance and the Planotones. It was written by Kenny Vance, Johnny Gale and Bruce Sudano and is featured on their CD "Mr. Santa", circa 2011-2012. Kenny signed my CD in person at the time of its release at a concert in Easton, PA. Im sorry to come across as being critical, but both groups are lifelong favorites of mine and I believe credit should go to the proper artists.
To my knowledge, the version I have playing above is by The Van Dells. I made a slightly shorter, second version of this same video with Kenny Vance and The Platones singing this song, which I will include a link for below. Both songs also sound very different from one another, despite having the same words. Hope this helps (I'm not sure when The Van Dells version was originally released; possibly recently:) ruclips.net/video/jr0Jxo9_9SQ/видео.html
