The school (hoped Karma played itself out on the school and its administration) was so wrong planting evidence and pushing you out. I can't imagine the trauma because after all, you were only in your early teens. In order for the school to push you out, your parents would have to agree with them which is even more sad. Your parents should have been empathetic - parents are supposed to love you unconditionally and shelter you. Removing kids from an established environment abruptly causes so much trauma (mentally and physically) down the road. You both have it handled it so well. I’m from Utah and I was raised Mormon, I’m bisexual and have the most amazing girlfriend now. My parents were very active in the church, I was baptized and right after I was baptized my parents split and left the church. I dated boys all through high school and never even really had a crush on a girl that I knew but I was so terrified to come out when I met my girlfriend because it had been programmed into me that it was wrong. I grew up around gay people and my parents were supportive of other people who were gay but when it came to me my mom was horrible and tried everything in her power to break my girlfriend and I up. My dad was the one I was worried about because he is the most conservative/traditional man I know and he was so open and welcoming to me and started treating her like she was his own from the get go. He’s an amazing man and he is not ashamed of me at all which is the best feeling. It is still really hard to go out in public with my girlfriend because of how judgmental the Utah Mormons can be but I’m so happy and I’m happy you guys found each other ❤️❤️
I'm so sorry you had to go through that with your mom. You know, sometimes parents just need a little time to realize that their child may have chosen a different path then they were expecting... But if she can't come around eventually and realize that you are happy with your girlfriend then that is her problem. I know it will tear you two apart and that will be a hard hard loss for you, but in the end-- you do have to live your life for YOU. You've only got one, might as well choose to be happy!! Such a sad but great story😭I didn’t come out until I was 32 because i couldn’t admit to myself I was gay. I too went to a very religious school and was taught it was wrong. It took me so long to realize I wasn’t damaged or defective. Meeting the love of my life helped me come out also. My wife and I got married last June and are expecting our first baby this August 🤗 Congratulations to you ladies on your new babe and never giving up on living your most authentic life.

This is such a beautiful story of love conquers all but it’s truly saddening that you had to go through that. Our world is changing but not fast enough. Still today young teens and adults face the whole coming out thing when really it shouldn’t be a ‘thing’ at all. My daughter doesn’t have to go around announcing her sexuality or hiding her budding relationships. Makes me so angry this battle is still on the cards for so many wonderful young people just trying to live their lives.

We stick together and they eventually kind of get along but I wish they have handled the situation differently back then and accepted us for who we are. Oh Sayan, you are right about that!!! There are sooo many details that were lost along the way with this story... Such a sad but great story😭I didn’t come out until I was 32 because i couldn’t admit to myself I was gay. I too went to a very religious school and was taught it was wrong. It took me so long to realize I wasn’t damaged or defective. Meeting the love of my life helped me come out also. My wife and I got married last June and are expecting our first baby this August 🤗 Congratulations to you ladies on your new babe and never giving up on living your most authentic life.

This is such a beautiful story of love conquers all but it’s truly saddening that you had to go through that. Our world is changing but not fast enough. Still today young teens and adults face the whole coming out thing when really it shouldn’t be a ‘thing’ at all. My daughter doesn’t have to go around announcing her sexuality or hiding her budding relationships. Makes me so angry this battle is still on the cards for so many wonderful young people just trying to live their lives.

We stick together and they eventually kind of get along but I wish they have handled the situation differently back then and accepted us for who we are. Funny how her mother's friend who happen to be a christian found out about the letters and made us promise to break up because our relationship was wrong blah blah blah..
