I am a 66 yo lesbian…watch a lot of RUclips…don’t generally watch a lot of “young lesbian” channels. But the two of you are intelligent, well-spoken and cerebral, a lot like me! Your story brings me back to my first love which started out in 1979 when we both started a job together. So sweet. I was 21 and she was 28. I'm a late in life lesbian. I came out 2 1/2 yrs ago at 55. But I kinda knew when I was in the Navy I was different in the sense when I was with a guy. At the time I was in the Navy, you could not be openly gay or lesbian. I am so Proud of who I am now. The moment I came out, all the stress and headaches went away because I was finally at a mindset to accept who I was. I initially came out in 2008 to my family, but I freaked out and couldn't handle it. I had several mini meltdowns about it, so I dormented myself, until Sep 2021 when a female customer came into the store I work at and I got butterflies. At that moment, it felt good, it felt right and I was in the right headspace to accept myself as being gay. On Oct 8, 2021 I went on my Facebook page and came out to the rest of my family and friends 😘😘🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈

There is an overwhelming certainty about each other which makes your story universal. It speaks to normalcy of a woman-woman relationship which is recognized by anyone. I am glad you found each other.

A little off topic but you both have such soothing voices
This kinda reminds me of the couples talking about how they fell in love and their love stories in the movie, “When Harry Met Sally.” This is one of my FAVORITE movies of ALL TIME!! Alex looks and acts a lot like Meg Ryan, actually AND Whitney~ in her exacting ways and mannerisms, reminds me of a female version of Billie Crystal!! They are both totally adorable 🥰TOGETHER, CUTE, and BEAUTIFUL🤩!!! Harry and Sally were so sweet and endearing together in that movie, and when I first watched it as a teenager I thought, ‘Ah; this is what I want to find with a special someone, someday. This is what true, devotional soulmate love must look and FEEL like.’ I think that I found my special someone, and everyday I pray🙏 to God that I have. Do you know if they ever turned away from God? Do you know if they did not give thanks to Him? Do you witness them being "given over in the sinful desires of their hearts?" Do you know by experience the unconditional, unchanging, ever-abiding love of God? If you have experienced the profoundness and the depth of His love, surely, you must be aware that His "love" is not constrained to what we think or what we believe. Do you know that God does not "think" the same way you think nor "believe" the same way you believe? Do you know God has a divine and distinct purpose in creating non-heterosexual people? What I personally have experienced is this: "Christians" drag the Scriptures (six passages, specifically) into conversations to defend their personal dislike of non-heterosexual people, and drop the name of "God" as a tagline of authority. I have also experienced the reality of this: "THIS is my "normal" for you. It is NOT my "normal for everybody." God whispered this to my aching heart wanting desperately NOT to be gay, to be "normal, like everybody else." So, I beg of you and all "Christians," to stop acting like God is on your soapbox. You do far greater damage to the Gospel of Christ, in doing so.

There’s no way God told you or indicated that he was ok with you practicing homosexuality. The Bible says what it says and using emotional arguments and opinions isn’t going to change that. The fact of the matter is, I may not know these women personally but I can see the fruit they are producing. The Bible says that a person is known by their fruits. Good trees cannot produce bad fruit and vice versa. That being said, them practicing this lifestyle is bad fruit.; it’s the fruit of unrighteousness, which tells me all I need to know in order to use quote this scripture to them.

You have no idea the anguish my soul has gone through with my CreatorGod. You have no idea the number of years, days, hours, I BEGGED God to change me into what you consider "normal." You have, apparently, not spent any nights crying yourself to sleep and pray you awaken in the morning to be homosexual. Neither have I. I HAVE, however, spent many, many nights in prayer and tears, begging to be changed "in the morning to be heterosexual." All I am going to say is this: The Lord, God, my CreatorGod has spoken in my HEART, those words from Himself: "THIS is my normal for YOU." No amount of Scriptures to try to contradict what my FatherGod has spoken to me will shake the peace which passes understanding, which He gave to my HEART the moment I accepted those words from Him for me. I will not "debate" this further. To do so, means I would be arguing with (apparently) a fellow-Christian about that which God has not given to him.
@@TheGrammyJNewton How are you going to claim God as your Creator but then turn around and not believe or follow his Word? The one that told you that practicing homosexuality is ok was definitely satan. The devil is a liar and he’ll tell you what you want to hear but God tells you what you NEED to hear. The biggest issue I have with ppl like you is you’re leading ppl astray with false doctrine. The Bible warns of that. It’s one thing not to have a personal belief in God but to actively suppress the truth is even worse because you’re doing the devil’s work. You need to repent.
