Hey! I bought rog g 713IM(RYZEN 7 4800H , RTX 3060 130W). while playing CPU temperature moves between 85c and 95c. The GPU temperature reaches 86C after a few minutes and becomes throttling. In your test, at the end of the control and forza 5 games, your system gpu was like this. Why does this happen to some ROG laptops? Lenovo laptops like Legion 5 are not like that.
Control with RTX on and forza horizon are both quite GPU demanding games, so the temperatures could go above 90°C. I suggest getting laptop cooler fans or not playing for prolonged hours.

In my experience the performance is pretty impressive and you may get it cheaper now. Though I have not tried Alienware, but I had heard it has heating problems.

Hey! I bought Asus rog Strix G17 6800h and 3060 140w ! In Battlefield 5 , Im getting 89C on CPU and 84 on GPU ! (rtx on, dx12,all ultra ) Is it good or should i also remove the boost from the registry as i saw many of owners doing this.
Temps below 90°C are fine and quite normal. Depending on games, it could even cross 90 as well but it shouldn't be an issue if you do not play for prolonged time.

@@leesaunders1930 Yes, I bought it just couple months ago, so its not going anywhere for now and I do test and play new games on it and upload it on this channel.
G17 has a bigger chassis than G15, so it should have more room for cooling. Also, room temperature, laptop age and other factors also affect G17. On my G17, the temps are mostly under 90.
Why are you benchmarking the games at 1440? Give people the wrong Idea. Bench at 1080 that's what most people with gaming laptops or looking to buy a gaming laptop will play at.
I benchmarked most of the games at both 1440P and 1080P, there is detailed video for all those games in the description. And also since I am testing the games for this particular laptop which has 1440P screen, I am focusing on that resolution as well.

It really depends upon your use case. If you are travelling a lot and also want decent performance without having to spend a lot of money, laptop would be a better choice otherwise PC would be better.

It has a 165Hz QHD display. Running 1440P with Ultra settings on most games on RTX 3060 is demanding,so I am actually quite satisfied with the performance on this laptop

G17 R9 RTX3060 user .. playing 2077 CPU temp 90-95 and GPU around 85-90 ( without cooling pad )
