    First we acknowledge the problems, then we can fix them. The Derwent Valley is such a wonderful place. One to be proud of and one to bring up a family in. :)

    Lived there for a year in primary school. Got called the N word on first day of school by multiple kids and ppl thought I was indigenous bc of my skin colour. I am of Asian decent. Racial abuse got to the point I had to move schools. Don't think ill be heading back anytime soon

    I’m moving there soon, will buy a home. Always shop locally and use local businesses and tradesman always give a local a job. People always moan when they loose services or businesses close but often didn’t support the corner shop or local tradie when they could have. The big malls and chains in nearby towns aren’t always best.
