I have experienced all of the issues you showed throughout the PTU waves with my Hull C. Lost half of the allocated AUEC due to crashes or station refusing to load or unload cargo. I believe the server loses the state of the ship due to it being multiple entities (front, cargo spindles, rear) and cant reconcile the appropriate action to take.
@@ValcryeTheSecond yep immediately tested Hull C, bought 600 SCU of copper at seraphim and the station refused to release the ship and repossessed cargo. Audio was bugging out as well. Seraphim was having issues, but once I went to other locations last night I was zooming with great performance since the servers were empty or capped. mid twenties server FPS. Super responsive.
Crash protection is now changed to being returned to the last station you docked or went to. So it won't always return your home base but could return to a space station.
since there are only two docking ports in stations, I just park the Hull C near the pads. I think it's faster than docking. The only downside is someone may remove your cargo from the pads using a tractor beam. So have a buddy to take the wheel while you do your business.
Trying to load/unload the Hull C has been an exercise in frustration. I’ve created or contributed to at least 10 Issue Council reports this patch cycle on the Hull C alone. She’s a fine ship, but the game mechanics need work. My guess is the guys at CIG put all this in as a band-aid until they could get cargo elevators and personal hangars in.
I just wasted about an hour trying to complete a simple delivery mission. Journey to outposts was a timesink, package fell through the floor and I had to go back for it, then it gets stuck in my character's hand and when I finally dropped it the mission beacon for the package vanished and I could no longer pick it up again. Something tells me this isn't fixed in 3.20, in fact there will be even more broken things to avoid. What a mess.
i have the exact nightmare you went thru recorded at Tressler, Baijini and Everus, same exact thing..... in the box, no cargo, no response, no woman screaming commands..... I ended up blowing the ship on every stations after 20 minutes of hell on each one.
IIRC there's no way to "unload" the Hull C unless you''re in a hangar. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but that's what I read/heard a few weeks ago.
The only way it let me load cargo onto the spindles in when I shutdown my engines while inside the cargo loading box. Press I to shutdown your engines and it should start loading cargo.
i got a HULL C loaner but i have yet to figure out how to make MONEY with it. tho some parts of Daymar you can land spindles out if there is a canyon lip like Waste management and ArCorp mining.
So to get that hull C a CS all you have to do is put your ship in the way of them docking and be stationery and wait for them to hit you so could blackmail the hull C or any ships that dock that way.😂 If you do not get impounded.
Dude. Dude. I watched 90% of this and had to do something. Then 3.20 came out. I didn't know that everyone got a hull c to try in the PU, so I melted my carrack to give it a go. Couldn't undock like you. Tried everything like you did. Then I came back to finish this video. Sigh
Yeah. They made a big deal about the Hull C but you can only sell at LEO stations. 4 places total, back and forth, forever (or until they figure out how the hell they're gonna do it a proper way instead of the half baked shit they always do).
Hull C... this time the ships radar-signature is referencing not Star Wars or Trek... but Austin Powers 🤣 ruclips.net/video/HV2UoWhV7qs/видео.htmlsi=XuPzN8_M19ondg-b&t=8
yea, the new shortcut changes are strange. Right alt + R to start the ship? why, it's not like R was used for anything. But pushing just C to change to decoupled is nice in a fight
When you "forfeit" your cargo by leaving the area does it at least refund the cost of the cargo? Cause that would really suck if for some reason it won't transfer and the only way to hotfix it is by leaving the area but then they just take your money and give you the middle finger.
This right here shows a huge problem with the development of this game! A feature as broke as this should have NEVER been pushed to PTU! Yet they continue to push trash out the door because they want it in our hands so bad they apparently are fine with things being broken even though they dont even work in their most rudimentary ways!
Oof. Patch is supposed to drop to live today too lol. I hope this wasn't recorded recently, otherwise the ships gonna be in the same state it is in your video on launch.😂
Where is this info coming from that it's supposedly going live to the PU today? I very much doubt that will happen since the build is in a not so good state. The audio issues alone are definitely a showstopper.
All that to load a hull c. Not worth it. Get an A 2 Hercules. You can make 8 trips loading and unloading before you can actually get the load mechanic to work for the hull c
Dude, patches were supposed to come out faster than before, not slower. What was all the bragging about finally having the tools to build the game faster? I question whether CIG can afford such long patches anymore.
Left alt k is the hot key for the spindle

If this goes to live in this state... It's going to be a bloodbath on Spectrum
@@DedLeader$20 says it does. Lol
And of course… it went live. I have had only 1 successful trade run out of 20 tests with only 60scu loaded

That has been a thing for a very long time!

Nice video Ded as always!
Also: Hotkey for deploying the Cargo Spindle is alt+k
You're welcome
Left or Right Alt? It matters.
Left, right alt + k unlocks the ship weapon ports.

Ya you get that big ol boy into that box! 😂😂😂
How much do you want to bet they release 3.20 in this state? Im putting down $20.
congrats winning
LOL I have to put the Big Boy into the Box.

apprechiate you enduring all the pain so that we don't need to.
The hull c screaming was hilarious to watch the first time but I'm very glad they fixed it

That freeze and the game saying “Ok”
You can expand/contract using ALT+K

Could rebind them back - but i just use 'U' key for powered on and ready to go
Can you land ships on the cargo grids? If so you could use this as a portable orbital launch platform for you and your ships
Nah you can't but they showed that you might be able to in a future update but I wouldn't believe that until you can see it happening in the game.
glad to see SC functioning as good as always for a 10 year old game
Boxes from the salvage missions are "stolen"

Nope! You forfeit the cost of the cargo too (usually about a million auec)
head's up guys, its still broken af
Do you have to request to undock, same as when have to request to launch ?
Yeah that seems to be the only way to do it when it will allow you (sometimes you just can't undock)

They're still making money, so they don't care... that's with any company really

Cant undock from space stations, salvage mission legal cargo is locked in orbit stations. 3.20 was just a what the fk for me.
As a non Hull C owner, 3.20 is a waste of time. I may check out arena commander when 3.20.1 comes out.

Should be getting 3.20 in the PU today. Hopefully it works better than this. Thank you for your efforts.
I would be shocked if it was since this is the current build on the PTU that they'd be going live with!
No fucking way is it going out like this.
FR is really stupid to go live releasing a ship which most used feature is known to be broken
What a mess
