Cucumbers are great ! Sometimes I cut up 3 to 4 of them and eat throughout the day . Very fulfilling. I drink plenty of water. It's hard for us truck drivers to eat healthy on the road. A healthy drink I sometimes make in the mornings is 3 to 4 celery sticks 1 garlic clove Tbsp cayenne pepper (give or take) Tbsp pumpkin seeds Chai seeds Flax seeds 1 banana Sometimes I add a half cup frozen fruit 8 to 16 oz water It taste amazing & gives me that burst of energy Occasionally I add plant based protein & beets powder if I'm going to drink throughout the day. I'd like to share what's working for me. My food is simple and easy to prepare. And this is what I eat every day: Breakfast - 2 cups tea (green tea or oolong), 2 whole wheat bread slices Lunch - Fruits in a big bowl (mango, papaya, jackfruit, banana, kiwi etc) Dinner - Brown rice, fish & veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus, squash, okra, tomatoes - any of these depending on my mood) :) When I cook dinner, my food is always grilled or steamed. Fish only, no oil, no marinade, no salt, just tons of spices. Also I only snack on nuts & seeds. No soda, but I do drink wine every day after dinner. :) :) With this lifestyle since 2012, I have never been sick even headache or fever. It was hard at first but with perseverance and discipline I made it. With regards to weight my BMI is 21 for 5 years now.
And that is not a balanced diet. If you keep eating like that, you may not feel it now, but eventually you will have symptoms of malnutrition and your body will not be able to fight off infections or viruses. Don't take advice online, People. Talk to a nutritionist or your doctor first.

So I made this for the first time tonight and it's not horrible and we'll see if it works but I just wanted to share some tips in making the drink for those of you who are challenged in culinary arts. 1. Pick off the parsley leaves. Don't throw the stems in there because it will be bitter af 2. Peel the ginger with the edge of a spoon and there is no reason to grate it as it is being pulverized in a blender 3. Put the whole lemon in there, fine, but remove the seeds. Also bitter 4. Cut the lemon and cucumber up into pieces to make it easy on your blender I'm going to try making it with coconut water to see if that makes it a little more enjoyable
You know what really worked for me was every morning drinking 2 tbsp of apple cider a little bit of ginger powder and honey in a warm water on an empty stomach. It has really helped speed up my weight loss journey and is so good for my digestive system

Kale, grapefruit, ginger, Apple, lemon and red grapes as a smoothie. An absolute energy boaster and often times as dinner. Very filling and no need for other food. Plus, I sleep like a baby.
I'll actually try that along with the video recipe. Shopping for smoothie/drink ingredients tomorrow for my in between meal snacks. Eating such low calorie meals during the day has me losing energy. I prefer saving most of my calories for dinner, which has been working great so far aside from the energy thing.
Considering I lowered calorie intake a bit and did light exercises, it does seem to be helpful. good detoxing i guess? But main benefit is that i do feel a bit better (mentally and physically ) with this added to my list :) i say it works depending on what else you add to your routine.

Well, the supreme law that people with good habits and health always say to me is that it's "okay" to eat sugar and stuff in the morning because you're going to burn it theoughout the day (if you're active ofc). The problem is eating at night because the calories that are most staying with you are the ones you consume before sleeping, hence the great problem in countries like America where the culture is having a full dinner (where I live, for example, we don't have dinner except for special ocassions, like eating out or dates etc, but in our daily basis we have "once" which is like a breakfast: some bread, tea or coffee, and if you're craving, something sweet like a slice of pie). The point of this drink is to burn those calories that you won't burn out in the night because you'll be sleeping and your metabolism won't be working as effectively. Hope this helped! It's also good to have a fasting day at least once a month. We need to give our bodies a rest from processing foods. So one day a month just drink water. No food. You could juice a lime or lemon and add it to the water for additional cleansing.

So I made this for the first time tonight and it's not horrible and we'll see if it works but I just wanted to share some tips in making the drink for those of you who are challenged in culinary arts.
1. Pick off the parsley leaves. Don't throw the stems in there because it will be bitter af
2. Peel the ginger with the edge of a spoon and there is no reason to grate it as it is being pulverized in a blender
3. Put the whole lemon in there, fine, but remove the seeds. Also bitter
4. Cut the lemon and cucumber up into pieces to make it easy on your blender
I'm going to try making it with coconut water to see if that makes it a little more enjoyable

Kale, grapefruit, ginger, Apple, lemon and red grapes as a smoothie. An absolute energy boaster and often times as dinner. Very filling and no need for other food. Plus, I sleep like a baby.
I'll actually try that along with the video recipe. Shopping for smoothie/drink ingredients tomorrow for my in between meal snacks. Eating such low calorie meals during the day has me losing energy. I prefer saving most of my calories for dinner, which has been working great so far aside from the energy thing.
Considering I lowered calorie intake a bit and did light exercises, it does seem to be helpful. good detoxing i guess? But main benefit is that i do feel a bit better (mentally and physically ) with this added to my list :) i say it works depending on what else you add to your routine.

Well, the supreme law that people with good habits and health always say to me is that it's "okay" to eat sugar and stuff in the morning because you're going to burn it theoughout the day (if you're active ofc). The problem is eating at night because the calories that are most staying with you are the ones you consume before sleeping, hence the great problem in countries like America where the culture is having a full dinner (where I live, for example, we don't have dinner except for special ocassions, like eating out or dates etc, but in our daily basis we have "once" which is like a breakfast: some bread, tea or coffee, and if you're craving, something sweet like a slice of pie). The point of this drink is to burn those calories that you won't burn out in the night because you'll be sleeping and your metabolism won't be working as effectively. Hope this helped!

Eat less eat veges fruits drink water walk everyday or two think positive and happy.... It sounds simple but it works... Eat as much natural fresh food... Don't eat processed anything more than once a day....
It's also good to have a fasting day at least once a month. We need to give our bodies a rest from processing foods. So one day a month just drink water. No food. You could juice a lime or lemon and add it to the water for additional cleansing.
