Hello, putting it in a fridge will not make it dry or get hard, don’t do that:) instead of that you can add some more tylose powder to your fondant, or if you are using a modeling paste you don’t have to do anything and it will be ok- but I would place it on a cake at the last moment, and before that I would just keep it in a room temperature so it can dry a little bit
I’ve never used any of these, but I think I’ve read that the de.oetker it’s not so good, but I guess you have to test it yourself. You add Tylose to fondant - about 1/2tsp to 250hram of fondant and knead it together. You might want to let it rest for an hour before making a figurine. If it will be still not holding shape just add some more tylose
That looks just what I want but how much fondant do I need esp the red?
How do you get this plane so shiny and smooth. Do you use something on your hands?
hi, I'm just using special modeling paste to make figurines - it's Saracino modeling paste, I really recommend it
Hi, I will make this for my son tomorrow. Birthday is in saturday. Is it enough time to dry? Should I place it in the fridge to dry? Thanks

I have bought 2 types fondant- de.oetker and Odense-which one would you use? Where should I put tylose and how do I make it?

To take rest in room temp? Can I use something else than tylose if I dont find it in the shop?
Yes,but it should be wrapped in a cling film. It has to be Tylose (sometimes it’s called cmc powder)
Can I make it with Gumpaste?
yes
