Hopefully AEON will start relying other brands instead of only OTIS. Perhaps they can invest in bringing Hitachi to their mall projects next time considering how rare Hitachi is today.
I think AEON just gives requirements to the developers than the developer's choice which is probably why different AEON malls in Indonesia use different brands.
In general, yes. And I think it depends on the specifications from the elevator companies as each company has different specifications. And you know what's weird here? I'm surprised that they didn't go with Mitsubishi even though Sinarmas Land (who developed AEON BSD City and Tanjung Barat) usually relies on Mitsubishi for most of their projects. There must be a reason why Mitsubishi has not yet been chosen for AEON Mall projects. On the other hand, I'm surprised that the one in Sentul City even use thyssenkrupp which is quite unusual for an AEON mall.
@@idl3k_elev : Perhaps because NEXIEZ-MR and MRL cannot support up to 2000kg? And yeah, the ones in Sentul is weird cuz usually AEON tend to rely on Japanese brands or OTIS. Never before I've seen an AEON mall with elevators from TKE, Schindler, DY, Sigma....

@@idl3k_elev : Ah, perhaps one of the requirements must be that the elevators are large in capacity and have 2 pairs of telescopic doors?

These are nowhere near h&m but goes between uniqlo and an open concourse with shops around it
Corrected. Somehow I mixed up the two stores in this mall.
