I love when Bart is commentating. So on point with how the players play and his knowledge of poker is just incredible. He can almost always give proper predictions as to how the game will play out.
I have been in Andy's shoes for so many times. Got coolered in a couple of big hands, making a lot of moves but people had it every time, and when you finally had a hand people just made some tight laydowns. I feel for him.
Only thing he could beat there is a bluff, plus Andy was stuck a lot of money, that played into garrets decision would he really blow off 100k on a bluff and risk being stuck over 400k. There are levels to this game and these guys are at the top!
@@owenperez8868 I can see the reasoning for thinking you are beat a lot in that spot given a lot of the natural bluffs from the flop and turn get there and you block a lot of worse value hands with 3/4 jacks in your hand.
Bart is the best commentator. Good analysis but not over the top (like when the dude was talking about folding 40% of your distribution in the Polk v Torelli hand that was too much) and he has fantastic level of enthusiasm
John Cyn outclassed? Wow, I don't agree at all. I think his hand reading is excellent and his live reads are well above average. I'm not qualified to say how he stacks up to GTO players but in this particular lineup I would say he is break even at worst.
Holy motherf****** sh** Jacky was running and playing like Jesus came down and blessed this man. Stacked Andy who’s a monster. Made Garrett fold top set. Poker gods spoke 😂
that andy v jackey hand is legendary , so sad for andy edit: actually so crazy just thinking about how life-changing money is passing right through their fingertips
His preflop call is not good (he has a TON of better hands to call the SQZ, if you call with this one you have almost 0% fold to 3b) and his turn raise is atrocious, it accomplishes nothing because there are not so many worse hands that pay you and you stop the other guy from bluffing you. River obviously is trivial (you only lose against 1 combo) but he lost a LOT more than he should in this hand due to bad play.
If you really step back and think about it what other hand would Jacky be re-raising with? If he has a Q there's no point in re-raising bc at best his splitting and only getting called by 99. Since he did re raise what other hand can you put him on other than 99? I know it sounds crazy folding top boat but this situation is the exact same as Polk folding the low second nut straight against Hellmuths nut straight. If you analyze the hands the only hands you could be up against are the nuts.
Garrett was off his A game during this session. He folded the best hand in multiple occasions on the river against large overbet. With the type of session Andy was having Garrett should have found a call with the A high Flush.
@@Tosco214 I don't know. A 99K all in when you are the one holding the Nut Flush, on a paired board, with a realistic straight flush combo out there, it just wasn't worth it. Bottom line it was an EPIC bluff, and I can't fault Garrett for the fold. As far as the other hands go, yeah, I agree he was a little off his game.
@@sigmarecon Couldn't agree more. And it's hard to find bluffs there. He's got an insane amount of nuts there though. 55, 99, 86s, T8s, 95s, 97o, 97s and one combo of J9dd or JJ as the hand was played. But what bluffs does he have? QTo (T of spades), T8o (either one spades), 98o (8 of spades), any more?
imo Garrett should call river. Many of the combos of boats/straight flushes would usually raise the flop, especially when it goes PFR stab, SB call on such a wet board. 2p+ ( like J9/55 ) and straight flush draws (T8ss/86ss) raise the flop at a high frequency. and JJ probably 4b pre a ton in this CO open vs BTN 3b, SB cold call config. Also Garrett blocks a bunch of the top FH combos with his J. Andy just doesn't get to the river with that many likely combos of boats+. But he does have a bunch of 9x that can play this way. Any other player we should probably fold but Andy is a sicko so put the money in.
I used to watch old school poker games and I’ve just started again recently. Garrett is already one of my favourite players to watch I been watching again since I got out of being in jail for 10 days lmfao
Butterbean 5022 but Andy didn’t take a minute to rethink the action on the turn.... what can Jacky bet turn gets raised then reraises back for 55K on that turn? What bluffs and what values? He bet so quick on the river got raised again and insta called river...

Flop 3, 7,8 with 2 hearts multi way. John has bottom set, Andy has 66, Bill has JJ, and Jacky has A9 hearts. Usually when you’re commentating, this is what’s called a super action flop. Turn J of hearts, now that’s a super duper action turn. Whoever was doing the commentating, really sucks because I could hear the crickets in the background instead of hearing the excitement in his voice. Word of advice to the commentators, recreational players that watch this, don’t just watch for the action. You as a commentator have a responsibility to make it more exciting and get these people to watch and subscribe as well. I personally saw this in a second and the fireworks went off in my head, my wife had no clue what was going on because the guys voice was putting her to sleep. I pointed out the hands to her than she was glued to the tv on what’s going to happen next. You have such a talented table there with great action. It was the night Andy got destroyed by Jacky, lost 1 huge pot to Bill and twice bluffed by Dan when had weak hands. The only good play he made was bluffing Garett raising all-in $100k+ on the river with Garrett folded the nut flush. It's incomplete since LATB did show the money loss count😤

Hello commutators, at 29:47 did you not see the straight flush draw that John has? If so let’s get excited and hope for the 8 of clubs to come on the river!
Garrett will call $24K on a double gutter draw but won't call $27K with top set of J on a completely dry board that ONLY a backdoor flush got there on. I don't get it.
Garrett is a beast. Made it too the highest stakes and is a winner. Plenty of logic behind him folding top set. Him not having J of hearts in his hand plays big part of it
Jacky could of easily floated 4 5 or flush draw, Garrett gave him that much respect. Jacky spoke back to him normally too, Garrett was fishing for a tell when he was exposing his hand and talking to him. Jacky played it well by talking confidently. Confident talk usually indicates they have it plus Garrett didn't have any blockers.
Garret is decent but definitely not one of the best cash players in the world, there are a ton of better players but you don't know them because they play online.
Are you kidding me? Watch this session then tell me which was better. Not to take anything away from the the heads up challenge, but this is one of the most epic cash games ever. The hands are insane.
Warranted a call to see the flop no doubt. He really put bill on aces considering how tight he was playing and him having no fear of money since he is loaded. But Jacky made some amazing lay downs in this session.

I don't know if they corrected it, but Andy over-payed on that large pot. He had only 156k or so on the table, but the dealer collected Jacky's full stack of around 178k. Andy was shell-shocked so he went into his backpack to pay the total amount, but he was only responsible for table stakes, namely the 156k.
He has discipline. Feels he will win in the long run, and he’s right. Tough laydowns he made no sure anybody could make them, but I think he was up the session over 100k+. I wouldent question the guy. He’s a winner.

You can tell on this face that it is not a gaze that someone would make while thinking it is a direct look at something
@@jdwilliams6526.. and then proceeds to lay down KK😂
What do time chips normally cost the players?
Why is John tanking for so long with bottom set with a flush on the board, overcards and a straight? Is obvious your beat with these bet sizes.
because people can bluff in poker? who would have known
52:00 1:26:28 look what getting stacked does to Andy’s action. 1:46:10 oh wait a minute

I think he reached into his bag to reload and just paid with higher denomination chips rather than ship his whole stack across the table.
Garret, they’re bluffing your pants off! Get a grip!
He has discipline. Feels he will win in the long run, and he’s right. Tough laydowns he made no sure anybody could make them, but I think he was up the session over 100k+. I wouldent question the guy. He’s a winner.
