Gojo was also pretty young by the time he died. He definitely has potential but surpassing Gojo is still hard to see. Gojo was blessed with top tier techniques and advantages in having both limitless and six eyes.

Does the "Sukuna isn't even trying his 100%" even matter now since all those hits from Yuji are crippling his output anyways. So even if he decides to pull out something completely new, it would still be severely disabled.

Surpassed gojo is a stretch, sukuna took all 8 black flashes but got knocked out by one of gojo’s and sukuna is massively weakened, so i don’t know about him being stronger then them at full strength

This chapter had Sukuna actually adressing Yuji and even him being suprised that Yuji learned his technique really quick. Even has Uraume sweating when talking about Yuji's potential. Its ramping up from now on
Sukuna not having a reversal of Shrine is very ironic, as it would go against his entire ideology of being a living disaster and calamity. Sukuna values his own actions and the freedom that comes about with it. He eats whenever he wants, he kills whenever or whoever he wants. The very idea of love is worthless to him, as it has only prevented people from reaching their full potential. Him having a technique reversal means admitting that love is worth as much as the freedom of ones own actions. That selflessness is as powerful as selfishness. Sukuna despises this, as it means that the power he received was not truly of his own actions, but rather from one soul to and from all others around them, just like Yuji.
Having a technique reversal, (thematically, to its maximum degree) is the peak of 'enlightenment', as it means fully realizing ones soul, body, ideology, and/or role in the universe. With Gojo, it was him realizing his role in the universe; to be the strongest above all others, sorcery or curse. Sukuna is all of these things, but he refuses to believe that love is worthy of anything, despite understanding it.
This is ironic given that Sukuna considers himself as the pinnacle of jujutsu, and yet doesn't have a technique reversal of Shrine. Perhaps Yuji can become strong enough to just use it to teach Sukuna about love.
Yuji currently has 2 techniques. Blood manipulation from death womb paintings and shrine engraved on him as the reincarnated vessel of sukuna. I don't think anything soul related counts as part of his technique it's just down to his better understanding of soul related matters which means we can expect to see at least one more cursed technique from Yuji because I don't think the son of the reincarnated soul of Sukuna's twin and the combination of Kaori(anti-gravity) and Kenjaku will be born without his own cursed technique. Cursed techniques we've seen so far are the ones given to him what about the one he owns?
The craziest part about yuji landing 8 black flashes, it's the fact that sukuna knew they were coming and genuinely couldn't do anything about it 😭

black flash allows sorcerers to understand the core of their cursed energy better which means everything else that comes along with it, barrier techniques, ct, rct, etc. with yuji hitting 8 in a row it can be argued that the amp and high he feels of the black flashes is equal to when gojo unlocked rct and thus subsequently red and purple so the same should/could apply for yuji right?
I also suspect that whenever sukuna goes all out could also be the point where we see the limit of one ct being used at a time being broken meaning we might see 2 cts being stacked on top of each other be it from sukuna or yuji
I need another arc. I want to see Yuji train his CTs for like a month or two and then fight. A domain expansion reveal is a bit of a stretch at this moment.

@@cameronrussell6276 but Megumi did it under pressure in a weakened form his very first time. He is absolutely stronger than base Megumi right now and his potential is far above his. He also has a high understanding of complex techniques so its not totally out of bounds.

Im confused? Does Yuji have just cleave. Or does he have all of Sukunas techniques like his domain and fuga plus cleave. Because it sais he has Shrine not cleave.
Cleave, Dismantle, and Fuga, all come from Sukuna's CT which is now pretty much confirmed to be called Shrine.

The biggest problem with Yuji's scaling for me is that he got so much stronger, but there's no one left for him to go above anyway. In terms of living characters, these are the only ones strong enough to be relavent (excluding Yuji obviously, and in no particular order):
Sukuna, Maki, Hakari, Uraume, Miguel, and Yuta (vital status pending), Also, Uro is still alive, but I'm not counting her.
Out of these 6 characters characters, he was already debatable stronger than everyone except Yuta and Sukuna. Both of these remaining characters are still probably Stronger.
For Yuji's most important powerup in the series, his ranking might not have actually changed at all.
Is he able to beat sakuna only because sakuna is using megumis body? Since he can hit the connection between their soul and body so if sakuna was in his own body he’d win?

I'm pretty sure the most physically strongest is itadori, and now if he can hit black flash at will, he would surpass all jujutsu sorcerers
Controversial take, but I don't think Yuji gained anything other than the Shrine CT this chapter.
Black flashes are easier to hit when you're on a roll, and Yuji was already the most proficient user in the series by shibuya. Landing 7 in a row was crazy, but not so unbelievable that it actually means he's gotten a powerup in that department. We already knew he could do this, it's an established part of his power set. If he keeps landing Black flashes, than maybe he's mastered it, but for now, it's just on the upper end of what we could reasonably expect.
Yuji's Physical stats seem consistent with prior chapters if you just assume that taking Black Flashes nerfs Sukuna more than regular punches. The same thing applies to yuji's durability. Sukuna is getting weaker, so it looks like Yuji is getting stronger. Btw I think the Cleave on Sukuna's leg actually went through, and it just didn't deal enough damage to sever it.
It's probable that he gained more understanding of his cursed energy, and might have increased proficiency with blood manipulation, but he didn't go up several tiers or anything.
His potential just shot through the roof, though. It was already one of the best, but now a hypothetical prime Yuji is just a better Sukuna. Still less than Yuta though, his CT cheats whenever hypotheticals are involved.
Gege writing is so contradictory 🤷🏽♂️ even if he surpass Sukuna this Sukuna is super weakened so it’s not surpassing 100% Sukuna…… or is it? Just weird writing choices but I just ignore the contradictions and just keep reading lol😂

What's so powerful about blood manipulation? I can't seem to understand. The strongest attack we have seen from it is the blood laser. Unless Yuji starts using doping + blood gauntlets, the blood manipulation isn't really helping a lot.
It should be as strong as limitless ( not six eyes ) and 10s but we have realistically we have not seen anything close to it at all 😂

Sukuna hasn't shown any abilities that could surpass Gojo's infinity so far. If not for Mahoraga's adaptation, he can't beat Gojo. So I don't know why Gojo says Sukuna would have beat him without even knowing what Sukuna would have done if he didn't have 10 shadows.

I think Surpassing Sukuna is referring to current Sukuna. Actualy reaching Sukuna's level during this fight would be extreme overkill.
Sukuna can't access his Domain or world slash, he only has one arm and mouth, and his output is garbage. If you were to take current Sukuna and put him back in Yuta's Domain, he would lose almost instantly.
There is a panel where we get a good look at sukuna and it looks like he has three arms now

We don't have the specifics on how great the effect of Yuji's hits were on Sukuna's output, but even before Yuji's first BF, Choso could survive Sukuna's 4th Black Flash just by coating it with blood armour. Sukuna has since taken 1 normal hit and 8 Black flashes from Yuji. His speed was still impressive in 256, but I don't know it that's stayed the same since. He has 1 arm and one mouth. The greatest advantage his unique body gives him is now gone. His RTC output is so bad that he hasn't regrown any of his hands despite clearly needing to. He has no access to Domain or World Slash right now. He wouldn't have won against Yuta without it.
Fuga could easily change this, but right now I think Sukuna is weaker than Yuta. He was ever since he got down to 1 hand, but now I don't even think Yuta needs his domain.
If Sukuna can revert some of the nerfs then he goes back to fodderizing everyone, even just with an extra hand he's back to top 1, but right now Sukuna has all of his options taken away.
