Jyadatar logon ko psychiatrist aur psychologist ke beech ka farak nahi pata hai. Kuch psychiatric disorders ke liye psychiatrist better hote hain aur kuch disorders ke liye psychologists better rehte hain. Psychiatrists basically medical doctors hote hain jo ki psychiatric illnesses, addictions and sexual disorders ka treatment karte hain. Psychiatrists medical treatment kar sakte hain, medicines prescribe kar sakte hain. Psychiatrists therapy sessions aur counselling bhi kar sakte hain.
Psychologists counselling sessions aur therapy mein better trained hote hain aur wo
psychological testing mein bhi trained hote hain. Usually ek team jisme psychiatrists aur psychologists dono hote hain, wo best treatment provide kar paati hai.

Psychiatrists are medical doctors whose area of specialization is pschiatry. Psychiatrists are trained in the treatment of psychiatric disorders, addictions and sexual disorders. Psychiatrists being medical doctors can prescribe medicines. Psychiatrists are also trained in conducting therapy sessions.
Psychologists, on the other hand, are not medical doctors. They are trained in giving therapy sessions and doing psychodiagnostic tests. They are legally not allowed to prescribe medicines, but they are better trained in taking counselling sessions.
In this video, Dr Praveen Tripathi, who is senior psychiatrist, deaddiction & sexual disorders specialist, talks about the difference between psychiatrists and psychologists.

Dr. Praveen Tripathi is a renowned psychiatrist who practices in Delhi-NCR. He did his MBBS from University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS, Delhi) and MD (Psychiatry) from the prestigious Institute of Human Behavior and Allied Sciences (IHBAS, Delhi). He also underwent training at the world-renowned Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York, USA, and Kansas University Medical Centre, Kansas, USA. He is one amongst the few Indian doctors who have cleared the prestigious United States Clinical Skill examination that evaluates a doctor's clinical competency. I have come across some clients who complained that for years they are in treatment of psychiatrist through medicine only,,, but no improvement,,, the family members asked for counselling sessions or any referral for psychologist,,, but no response from the psychiatrist... Heyy can u please tell me weather pursuing psychology is a good carrier choice or not? As I'm currently 16 and opted for pcb and my mom is telling me that neet isn't required for it and its done after talking up with arts so doesn't have much value either. So it is a good choice overall??

In our relative family a mental pt is there, they did all treatment including allopathy and devta like. But still problem is there, the illness is about 10-15 yr old, sometimes pt do fight with family members and abuses them and expresses scary face. Make a vidio on this situation please

I was a patient of anxiety and severe depression and restlessness.. Or to be honest sir.. After consulting psychiatrist.. Now I'm quite better than before.. Or bina medicines k in diseases ka koi treatment nhi ho skta... Patient ki kitni b counselling kr li jaye.. Severe Depression and anxiety are life threatening diseases.. Medicine is must to treat these problems

There is something rotten inside of me. I find it near impossible to drown out the constant cacophony of voices whispering in my ear, telling me I am evil. I'm drowning, doctor! And I can't stop asking myself... why do I hate myself so much?
There is always something rotting inside us and that is food but hey that is natural phenomena. According to your statement is things thoughts in your head is getting rotten and that is causing the trouble. I think you should talk to your family or frnds or see some professional. Take care of yourself. If you have nobody you can talk to, you can text me but please get yourself out of this and see how beautiful life is, each and everyone of us is f**ked in someway but when we understand "whether we like it or don't like it, we are always alone within this body" everything change bcs than we know all experience is within us and we can determine how to be.
