Been listening to this old video while working on my study journal. Thanks for keeping up with this for so long. It's beautiful to see the progress and the things that, even after 3 years, remain just the same: the good vibes
I watched all your set-up and flip thru videos, and now I’m binge watching ALL your vídeos! Please, please, don’t stop your bullet journal videos!!! Maybe you need to re-think your spreads to feel excited again... maybe if you design some new spreads to recreate the best of your teacher planner and the best of your powersheets, and have all together in your journal... just some thoughts... I really hope you get back your good feelings about your bullet journal. Thank you so much for everything you already shared!
Even though you think this journal is a mess, i felt the same about my first bujo... but you gave me new ideas for my current bujo (which has so far been in only pencil... oi)
So inspiring!!! Not actually because of the layout things but because of your great way to organise, observe and review your personal development. Your plans and goals and lists and ideas.... This really made me thinking about my own goals and whether I'm working on them and how I organise myself. If you have seen like hundreds of flipthroughs it's hard to find one what's really inspiring you again so thank you very much for sharing it and don't care about imperfection - it's individual and it's true you, so it's great!
I like the meal planner at 10:58, it's such a good idea to use sticky notes. Just like you, I also had a lot of trackers I started but never finished, so I don't even put them in the journal anymore.
I loved seeing this! You have some really cool spreads in this journal! I have always heard that the LT1917 was the best journal but there was a lot of bleeding and shadowing - I get that some of this has happened over time. I have soooooo many incomplete pages in my bujo as well. I actually threw those journals away bc I viewed the empty pages as failure and not as “real” life.😣
I bought myself a cheap journal after BohoBerry infected me with the virus. I set up a trillion of collection pages and stuff.... never to use them 🤣🤣🤣🤣. But when my first LT 1917 arrived I did pretty much the same as you did. I'm still a 1917 girl, I just love how the pages sound and feel. Thank you for sharing. It makes me feel giddy to see others started exactly as I did only to evolve into our own styles. Your's I love, btw!
I have been watching your videos for a while, I love your creativity and honesty. I don't remember the music, but it must have been bad because you bring it up a lot. lol. My left hand could never do what you do, but I love watching you all the same. Also, the meal planner with sticky flags is fantastic.
I wish my best handwriting looked half as good as your old, “terrible” handwriting! Loved the original video because I like to see where people started, how they experimented and figured out what worked for them and that my early journals do look like they’re supposed to (as opposed to comparing them to someone’s aesthetic journal after they’ve been at it for years), but I do appreciate the redo with the current music 😂
Thankyou again, I've tried bujo for the last few years but usually give up. However, this year (2021) I've found a reasonably priced 160gsm dotted. I have penciled in so many collections I hope to use but I'm going to jump to monthly, weekly, dailies then go back when I've got the hang of it. But if I don't, thanks to you I'll not beat myself up about it. A question I have though is what sort of order do you find works best for collections.
Good question! 😄 it really depends on the type of collection. For my yearly or “for the life of this journal” collections, I normally like to put them up the front, typically in order of importance or size. So by that I mean, things like a future log or year at a glance which are supposed to be reference pages, I’ll have at the very front so they’re easy to find. After that it’s the importance idea so collections for goals/other tracking/etc in order of my personal most important to least important. For other collections that I think of after my initial setup, I’ll either put them on the next available blank page/spread or if I want to be able to reference them quickly, I’ll put them in the back of my journal 😄 I do have a separate journal for long term collections though, so any of those I put in there just on the next blank page 💜
@@isabelmiller8400 Still setting it up but filling it in is sporadic. If I can't see it I forget it so trying to keep it out all the time now. Thanks for asking, hope you are well.
@@mumsysescape6612 Glad you are using it somewhat! I have the same problem so I try to keep mine where my phone is. I am doing well :) Have a good day!
Tricky to pick! I would have to say though, out of the LT1917, Scribbles That Matter, Dingbats and the Archer & Olive, my least favoured was the LT1917. The others I liked and disliked for different reasons 😋 STM: liked the page numbers and whiter paper, still got some ghosting or bleed through when I went a little too over the top with my Tombows Dingbats: liked the size of the pages and page numbers, didn't like that the pages were more yellow than the other journals I'd used Archer and Olive: liked the whiteness of the pages and the lack of bleeding/ghosting, fabric cover picks up dust really easily though and it is a bit more pricey That's a quick review, but the main points that come to mind, haha 😅
how do you add charms to your bujos? I am terrified to test out ideas and can't find anyone else who's done it 😅 love your videos! been binging them while I can't work on my bujo due to a wrist injury.
Oh no! Hope your wrist is better soon! I put the charms on by putting one of my ribbons through some kind of attachment to the charm (normally a jump ring) and then tying the two ribbons in a know such that the charm is secure underneath the knot. Hopefully that makes sense! 😅
Wow your handwriting was already gorgeous and your Lettering although changed is still gorgeous wish mine was half as pretty! Got myself a notebook, will be transitioning next week, without a monthly probably 🤯 how is life without weeklies?
I’ve been finding life without weeklies is going fairly smoothly; do certainly need to work on my digital task collection though so I do actually record what needs to be done 😅
I had the exact same first BuJo! :'D LT1917 Anthracite! :'D but mine was in 2019. how long have you been a teacher? how old were you when you started and how old were you when you finished school for it? Lot's of questions :'D I'm very curious about this

gosh, i almost forgot that we used to bullet journal like that 😅😂 we have evolved so much since then hehe. nice throwback.

Thanks Kelsey! I value my messy journal; it was a good learning experience 💜😄

Always good to learn what we do and don’t end up using 😛👌 I quite liked that meal tracker too!
Boho.berry was first for me too. I miss her so much!!
Boho Berry was also the first bullet journaler I found on youtube! This was great!! Thanks for shaeing 😊

Your bujo is just so good looking and flipping it is just so relaxing😌
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! 💜😄

Thanks! I agree; it’s cool to see how people take inspiration from others and make it their own 😄💜

Over 3.5 years, which is the best bullet journal to use in your opinion?
