Why was this event held on a Wednesday? Sandy Blvd. from NE 57th to the freeway on-ramp at NE 39th was blocked off. Sandy Blvd. is a major arterial, 4 lane street, the detour route was worse than 5 p.m. traffic. That's not good if one has a medical or dental appointment on the west side. An event like this should be on Saturday or Sunday. Poor planning by festival organizers.
