In a deep, dark forest in this world of magic, there is a boy who is singlemindedly working out.
His name is Mash Burnedead, and he has a secret. He can’t use magic.
All he wanted was to live a quiet life with his family, but people suddenly start trying to kill him one day and he somehow finds himself enrolled in Magic School. There, he sets his sights on becoming a “Divine Visionary,” the elite of the elite.
Will his ripped muscles work against the best and brightest of the wizarding world?

I love that mash sees these magic users saying their spell names (probably because they are needed to cast) and then just starts doing the same for his moves
Or he knows he's in an anime and that move names NEED to be called before using them, no matter the nature of the move.
I like to think that it's his way of trying to make people think he does have magic. He's shouting out spell names like everyone else, so they think that he's just using body enhancing magic

Revealed in S2 Episode 15 they DO need to chant their spell to use it.
@@aer0340 to use most magic yes they need to chant an incantation, some can be done without a chant like when Mash's Dad levitates the tea kettle he can do that with just gestures.
Real talk: I know it's just the name of a group of muscles. But, Erector Spinae is a badass attack name.

There's a .1 second delay between the brain relaying an order and the body acting that order out. Example: throwing a punch or a kick.
Mash is faster than that delay through pure raw physical speed.

This is definitely the best fight scene in all of Mashle so far. Love also how mash names all his magic after a muscle group. Fanatasic anime!

The sound effect sounds more reminiscent of Looney tunes
Ippo, featherweight champion of Japan from George Morikawa's famous and long-running series, The Fighting Ippo. Kind, shy guy who winds up taking up boxing and turns out to be a goddamn monster at it. The wind-ups on his punches cause a jet engine sound, and when he unleashes them everyone in the audience feels a strong air current. That's why he's known as The Wind God.
Some people think the mix of orchestral music + rap is corny but I just absolutely love it. It fits so well. I can't stop listening to it!

It fits the scene and show perfectly; a mix of fantasy and action that doesn't take itself too seriously, yet remains utterly awesome.

The anime's content is authentic. The soundtrack really fits with the battle... It shouldn't be compared to Black Clover.. Each anime with its own concept.

You know, continually yeeting him through his already shattered Secondth spell is just bm on Mash's part.
Mash could’ve easily beaten them in the same spot. He made sure to keep blasting them through their ultimate spell like tissue paper, though.
Guess he really wanted to sell that EMOTIONAL DAMAGE.
Love this scene. Seeing Mashle go all out, and Void doing his best to stay in the fight despite being out classed. It's simply amazing.

When Mash pulls off physical feats like that it just makes lean more and more toward my theory. Mash has Mana, but he can't use magic because he has doesn't have an outlet for it (the mark or "crack" on other's faces) so instead the mana enhances his bodies' strength and durability.

Just bumped into Mashle here. Bro is literally saying the names of individual muscles as move names. Each muscle he names in involved in each move performed as he names them. Gotta admit, it get my massage therapist brain going, having studied anatomy and kinesiology for the job.
Mash's fighting style actually reminds me of Sanji's from One Piece.
Sanji would say different cuts of meat when attacking an opponent
The difference is that Sanji refers to which part of the opponent's body he's hitting, while Mash is referring to which part of his own body he's using.
Mash is such a good boy. We get to learn different types of muscles while he beats the stuffing out of Abyss Razor.

The only weird thing about this universe is they all basically know their primary weakness is their lack of physical strength and seemingly Mash is the first person to ever make the flaw obvious enough for at least the students to confront it. I get this is primarily a gag comedy but still. I would think more of them would want to address their physical weakness.
I mean at this point it's only been a week or two since he enrolled in the school and made himself known
And Mash is basically a freak of nature that should be in a more traditional martial arts based Shounen instead of a wizard school.

Erector Spinae is an amazing move. i personally wouldve loved to seen it as a constant spin towards the ground and then perfectly landing it as a suplex
