Sleaford West Level Crossing

Saturday September 26 2015 at 7.54 and 7.40. The Skegness to Whitby Excursion train seen minutes earlier at Sleaford East and, at the end, sight of the 7.05 Lincoln to Sleaford (7.37) train filmed arriving a little late at 7.40. There are 3 tracks here so full gates each side would have been far too large. A north-south line and an east-west line meet in Sleaford and a track splits off left of here and runs around the edge of the town to join the line going north. On the right here is a subway under the line. The gate post on this side is a rare iron one.
