this video just comes off so clean! really good guide! and also, at 7:30 this phenomenon happens when you are tilted and too close to the platform you are climbing on, and is preventable if you just climb further away.
11:34 your third option is going on the tip of the truss, then disable shiftlock then turn your camera to face the left side of your character. then press shiftlock, space and "a" at the same time and then press "d" to land on the top (this way i find good if you struggle with the first 2 options) 12:00 you can high jump and then move slightly towards the right to climb the ledge which makes it slightly easier 12:34 (wow its 1234) i suggest hugging the corner of the wrap and then slowly tapping d until most of your right foot is off the platform, then you can perform the wrap and it makes it slightly easier 17:50 u can use the same strat i gave above ^^^ which definitely makes the chance of getting flung a lot less
For 11:29 i have a different strategy Basically, turn your camera around 40°, then treat it like a normal headhitter WITHOUT shiftlock. Then turn shiftlock on to grab onto the platform. Its a pretty consistant strategy actually.
Man this is the first video of yours that I've seen since it just popped up on my recommended but you really seem to be like one of the best jtoh youtubers. The vid I feel is paced really well and could serve as both a guide and just entertainment which I think is pretty hard to balance correctly. I think you've got the perfect amount of yap and humor and I have no clue about your other vids but I genuinely think if you keep putting out quality stuff like this which is well edited and has good commentary you'll really do well on youtube, even if it isn't just making videos on a roblox game only a few hundred people even play actively. I feel like the sheer effort you put into this is quite astounding compared to most other jtoh youtubers and I just want you to know that I'm sure a lot of people find your stuff really entertaining and informative. Also about sc recommendations I know it really varies from person to person so you'll have to take my recc with a grain of salt but I wholeheartedly think jumping to ToAE isn't a bad idea. It obviously depends at the speed you want to progress in the game and idk if you're willing to grind a while for a tower that might seem insurmountable at first but I think you'll find it really fun. I personally did it as my 5th ever sc after doing ToTL, ToDC, ToDT, and TT (in order). Even though the tower is extremely punishing, its similar to ToTL in the way that its very short and I believe gets quite consistent. Even with my experience of failing the final stretch 9 times over the course of 3 days it never felt monotonous to play because the gameplay feels really fun and flows well. Anyways W yap sesh concluded I hope this comment reaches you since I really do think you're doing a great job and that I'd love to see you doing some harder towers eventually :]
GGs!! I went the exact same route LOL (ToDC, ToDT, ToTL). Now i HIGHLY suggest you to do ToIF as it is a very good skill booster for trusses. That's what I am grinding rn. My pb is 9x2. Good luck on your other scs!
As a person who have beaten ToTL... Two times, i can comfortably say that your final jump fail is less worse than my frame walk fail (yes i've failed that) Moving on from that. I can sense the stress you had with this tower and the so called *"punishment"* of it. During my grinds, after beating ToDT i've chosen ToCA as my second soul crushing, mainly to deal with the punishment. It's really quick to do and i really liked it overall, and after like two fails of F10 i beated it (and that's easier than ToTL despite being in the same difficulty being mid insane). Great work with your accomplishment and many others to come (i guess?)!
This video is really well made! How do you get those cinematic camera shots during the tower overview? theyre so cool and I always wanted to know how to get something like that
GG on ToTL, Roro! Maybe you should go for a High-Peak Insane or Baseline Extreme (Sadly I don't know any) Also do you have any tips on getting better (other than the vague and cliche "practice makes perfect"?)
I’ll elaborate on “practice makes perfect”. What I do is practice single jumps/sections and learn a preferred method for them, then try to complete the jump/section some number of times in a row (3-10 depending on what it is). You can then put the pieces together and try to complete a whole floor or multiple floors legit.
thanks i may make a video guide on how can totl be finished in under 2:20 yes i am the world record holder of totl obviously for the glitchless category
So i have beaten ToUH, ToIF and ToTL as scs. Even though ToTL is higher then ToIF on the dc, i think ToIF is WAY harder. I litterally spent a week on ToIF and 3 days on ToTL. Well anyways GG on ToTL👍 (Edit: to clear confusion, ToUH was my first sc and ToIF my second (so ToTL my third))
I assume you mean the format with “Stream Highlights”, “Fail Compilation”, and “The Run” like was the case in the ToDC and ToDT videos. It’s not gone, but I decided not to do that for this video since that would be like 99% floors 1-3 stuff, and also because I mostly grinded ToTL and won it off camera (recording the game but not streaming/commentating).
Oh my god, cause of you, I did Thanos Tower, just 20 minutes ago. Thank you. Roro. I never commented cause it's my new own account. I say Hi! (NOTE: DON'T AND NEVER TRY THAT GBJ TOWER EVER, IT'S PIECE OF SH-) Edit: GG!
@@Roro_Studios TY! it was my first sc (which i regret lmao) so i'll do todc as my second one. Goodluck on other towers! Sadly I can't recommend any tower, as I never played other towers or rings lol! Anyway. GL on other towers and stuff.
What should my next hardest tower be?
tower of elongated runs
ToPZ
I'd say do ToCA then ToIF, then something harder of your choosing, then do ToAE, which will be your first extreme!
I did toae after totl
@@sidneymorgan8250 thats a big jump

Failing the last jump on the floor 10 outside section is just as bad as homework
Thank god I didn't fail it
I failed twice lol. Both dumb fails as well.
For 11:29 i have a different strategy
Basically, turn your camera around 40°, then treat it like a normal headhitter WITHOUT shiftlock. Then turn shiftlock on to grab onto the platform. Its a pretty consistant strategy actually.
This Tower is just crazy stressful, these jumps are all so scary, I can't imagine holding my nerves in, so MASSIVE GG managing your sanity.

that final jump fail is way worse imo, the frame walk just sucks to fail because its so avoidable
good game!!! great job on completing totl!
