    What a beautiful jersey. I have to mention, it is the same for me with sizing, but the quality of all my Castelli jerseys is outstanding. There is a saying here in Germany, "if you buy cheap, you buy twice."

      This is a true masterpiece, the question remains where is the limit between expensive and good value, but in this case cost is very justified.

    I have the heavier version of the Perfetto. It is excellent. Yesterday was about cloudy, windy and about 48F. I wore it with a light baselayer and brought along a windbreaker (but didn’t use it).
    Gabba and Perfetto are truly awesome .. Castelli products are outstanding.
    Btw.. Castelli needs to use you as a model. You have the perfect build and character for their clothing. Being Italian is also a plus. Lol.

    Thanks for another great review Federico. I purchased this item (also the Gabba) based, in part, on your recommendation. I love it!
    I can see myself wearing this along as I can come the spring and only going back to regular jersey when I have to.

    Brilliant review indeed. I have one question though - would you recommend this jersey to be used as a gillet? Over a thermal jersey? Like a gillet with extra protection on shoulders. Thanks

    • @fede1275
      @fede1275  11 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you! I believe it would be too tight to be worn over a thermal jersey. This is designed to fit snugly and it's one of the nice features. I just choose light or warmer arms and base layer. I don't use it without arm warmers.

    • @ivanporada8634
      @ivanporada8634 11 месяцев назад

      @@fede1275 do you think Gabba is too warm for weather when it is warm enough to ride without the warmers? So maybe Perfetto light would be more universal option, no? I am torn between Perfetto jacket, Gabba or Perfetto light short sleeve jersey. Thanks for your opinion. Appreciate it

    • @fede1275
      @fede1275  11 месяцев назад

      @@ivanporada8634 I like the way they wear with short sleeves, even if I always wear both Perfetto Light and Gabba with arm warmers. I believe they are more flexible this way than full sleeve ones. I use the Perfetto Light at around 8-10 degrees C, Gabba around and below 6 C.

    Thanks for the great review. My only concern with this jersey (and many others, too) is that it doesn't have a zip pocket. When I'm out on the bike, I like to put valuables (keys, cards, money, phone) into a zip pocket, leaving the other pockets for bars, gels, tools, etc. I'd be worried about putting these valuables into an open pocket. Have you had any problems with this?

    • @fede1275
      @fede1275  Год назад +1

      I realised I haven't been using a zipped compartment on other jerseys in a while and I'm not missing one on the Perfetto or Gabba. Lately I'm only carrying my phone and I pay for everything contactless.

Have you tried using them with the Nanoflex bib shorts or a similar fleeced bib short? A sublime combo for upper 40s to low 60s temps for me.

      Thank you very much!! In London it's getting cooler, but this morning at 7.30am was still manageable for me, it said 6 or 7 degrees. I had a perforated base layer and the Van Rysel long sleeve jersey. Still have to take the Perfetto out. When I commute I know the ride and the intensity, so it is easier to warm up and prepare.
