I am not on any social media and don't usually comment but just wanted to say how much I enjoy your videos, so good for my mind, body and spirit, after such a stressful lock down and illness! I also wanted to say that its a good idea to have a old tin to put your egg shells in, and after each time you use your oven, pop the tin inside to warm and dry the eggs. Blessed Beltane everyone from Florida. About two weeks ago I planted some lavender and Alyssum for my mom, and the little sprouts started popping up 4 days ago. Though Florida doesn't really have much of a moment of spring with it's barreling heat, the other flowers in our yard, especially out pink hibiscus are as beautiful as ever.

Thank you Alwyn! I actually was so inspired with this video, I made my own Beltane pentacle with ribbons! It came out soooo great! I love watching it sway in my apple tree outside! It was a little challenging getting the sticks to form the pentacle shape with trying to manage securing with twine…but I did it!
I take my eggshells and I put them in my toaster for a minute to make sure there's no residuals on them and then I cracked them up and put them in a mason jar to use whatever I need to. It is a great opportunity to bring in the fire element to ritual as well. Your videos are fantastic! I look forward to doing some of these activities with my 10 yr old son.

I’m very excited for Beltane but I’ve had a string of bad luck lately. Over the past five days I’ve turned my ankle, skinned my knees, stabbed myself with a pencil, burnt myself with hot tea, and now I’ve broken my finger. It’s quite a blow because I play viola and piano and you can’t do that with one hand immobilised. It’s rather put me out of the happy spring mood, I must confess. I should probably do a good luck charm. Also, isn’t it amazing that Beltane is falling on new moon! Love the video, Alwyn. It looks beautiful, as always. Edit: I just realise that I think you have the same mortar and pestle as me!

Your videos are always so relaxing. The handle of your glass tea cup is BEAUTIFUL. I feel like I need to do the meditation lying between my apple and cherry trees, I'm sure there are fairies there, there is definitely an other worldly presence anyway!, we even have some bluebells under there!
Your ritual was amazing! I felt that beautiful green light flowing through me. It was so healing, too. And my flower was a violet! After watching, I crafted two little wreaths with ribbons to decorate my doors. It was such a good idea. Thank you dearest fairy friend!

Such a beautiful video. I love watching your crafts and adventures. If I may, a tip about egg shells. Make sure you clean them and dry them before adding to your garden. If they are from raw eggs and not cleaned, salmonella can get into your herbs/ veggies. If they are from hard boiled eggs, you're fine.

If I may, a tip about egg shells. Make sure you clean them and dry them before adding to your garden. If they are from raw eggs and not cleaned, salmonella can get into your herbs/ veggies. If they are from hard boiled eggs, you're fine.

I'm in Eastern Ontario, Canada, and our growing season is about 3 - 4 weeks behind yours I'll be planting some seeds tomorrow and setting up my mini greenhouse so everything is ready to plant in the garden at the end of May.
