I thought dark swarm was impossible to deal for a bio Terran. But this video probes that if you keep the zerg on the defense it actually makes your oponent to stuck at his base. Pretty intense match, loved it.
More important for bio Terran when they dealing with Dark Swarm is Zerg macro, 1)if you 3-4 base Terran under constant ultra-ling pressure for your 3 and 4 vs 6-8 base Zerg, or 2)if you 3-4 base Terran who is constant pressuring 3-4 base Zerg and even killed 1-2 times Zerg 3d In first case its offensive Dark Swarm, and its like 5-10 Defilers on the field, and 2nd base its defensive Dark Swarm and its only 2-4 Defilers on the field bcs Zerg has no economy to keep it up. The bad thing about it that 90% of Terran players just couldnt micro and macro their bio + SV strategy 2nd way and they ending up 99% of time with 1st way scenario.

It's a swarm of insects, so kinda like a fog. Can't see anything through it so can't target anything. Marines shooting into the mist, giant shadow approaching from out of the fog, ULTRALISK!!! Cool af.
Yo Falcon! I heard that you read every single comment on your videos on RUclips. Here's the thing: the JaeDong playlist has a lot of duplicates. Sometimes even one after another (like Jaedong vs Light on NeoSylphid of 19:53 ) It could use some clean up. Other than that, I'm glad you're doing these. I miss NukeTheStars so much, you're the closest to that. The landscape isn't the same either too, though on the upside we have production tabs and such, easier to keep up with what's happening.
A note on the lore of Dark Swarm, it's actually an impenetrable cloud of cheeto dust. Defilers get their name from constantly having cheesy cheeto fingers, DEFILING anything they touch. Plague is obviously Blazing Hot Cheetos.
Always a pleasure to see Terran outharrass and contain Zerg. Amazing troops coordination from RoyaL, and kind of lacking gameplay from Jaedon, not sure why he kept making ultras instead of scourge.

I think dark swarm doesn't stop bullets, it just kinda cloakes units so you can't shoot at them... but then you can put irradiate on them, doesn't really make sense lol

Usually a good thing, but this time you spoiled the ASL finals for me, which really really sucks. I like to watch the Tastetosis English broadcasts, and they haven’t posted the finals yet. It’s not easy to avoid spoilers - I mute other broodwar channels during ASL, but yours hadn’t been a problem before. Will probably hide your stuff during next ASL bc of this 😢
That’s a great question! It always feels like forever. There’s definitely some unavoidable delay in getting the VOD from Afreeca, and then another delay as they edit and add the subtitles. Of course it’s not your fault that they take so long. I’m not sure how many of us there are who dodge the spoilers and wait for Tastosis, but however big the group is, I bet it has a lot of overlap with your viewers! If you could just watch out for it next time, we weirdos would appreciate it 😊 thanks again

Thank you Falcon ! Could you eventually upload a game featuring Royal VS Protoss ? I watched last ASL season almost entirely - Royal is obviously very good, but he seems especially a master of TvZ . Only Soulkey could challenge him (that series went to game 7), other Zergs looked just bad against Royal. And then he faced Rush in the Final . Rush, very respected Terran, but he's no Flash or Light. I don't mean he's not a true champion, but I would like to know a bit about Royal's TvP skills.
If Jaedong had stopped investing in Mutalisks in time and transferred them to Lurkers and Defilers, then this battle would have ended much earlier. And it would have ended with the victory of the Zergs, not the Terrans.

I think you got it half right, it's a swarm of small bugs but they don't make units bulletproof, they just prevent accurate targeting.
