This is so heartbreakingly beautiful… Gods, I wish I could my hands on this recording… to my mind, better than the studio recording on the album. The heart is easier to hear, the clarity of the emotion… to have so much talent as to translate that message when stripped down is… extraordinary. Bless you, PVRIS. ❤️🙏🏽

Lynn seems to be distancing herself from her early work, a bit like Hayley Williams did when she called her early songs “cringe” when she was asked what she thought looking back on them. I don’t know why you’d ever say something like that because at the time people resonated with it, and I’m sure plenty do still now Anyway slightly off topic.. but I don’t know why you wouldn’t be proud of what got you noticed in the first place
The other Empty Room Sessions videos are all gone besides this one. Huge bummer! The "Eyelids" performance from the Empty Room Sessions is really amazing but I can only find a low quality repost but that's it out of the other vids.
@@CrazyPanda688 I totally agree! The empty room sessions are some of my favorite renditions of one of my favorite albums, it’s absolutely amazing. I don’t know why Lynn would want to bury such an amazing collection of recordings. (I’m the OP just on a different account lol)

Im 100% with Sam on this one . When those empty room sessions came out , i used to listen to them everyday. Fast foward 6 years , i get a youtube recommendation about a league of legend video that has a pvris song , im like , wow is it the band that i used to listen to 6 years back , and i got a flashback of those insane empty room sessions so im like i gotts chek this out , turns out they pretty much sound like every other pop band now . Feels bad
I cant believe they put the down the empty room sessions . For me , its what they did best . Now theyre too pop for me , hell they got featured in a league of legends video so that tells us where they are now . Really sucks that they forget where they started .
