  • This video will show you how to decorate wet-on-wet sugar cookies! Make sure you have all your icing ready to go and immediately pipe your designs onto your cookie while the icing is still wet. Use 20 second icing for everything, which will ensure your icing will level out but not be so runny it'll run off the edge of your cookie. :) This has become one of my favorite techniques... It's really fun and gives such a cool effect!

      Thank you! And you're welcome! I like to try to thread the needle of being fast enough where people aren't getting bored but not so fast where it's hard to follow along! LOL

    Will you please make a video on how you get your cookies so straight? And icing video please!

    • @SharilynsCookieStudio
      @SharilynsCookieStudio  4 года назад

      Hi Paloma! If you go to my Instagram page, I have a highlight saved called "Tips & Tricks" that shows how I shave the edges of straight cookies to get them sharper. I'll try to get a RUclips video up soon showing that, but in the meantime maybe that can help! And do you mean my icing recipe? If so, here you go! ruclips.net/video/O2fwD30KLxM/видео.html

    I love these!!! I have been meaning to try the technique--now with your video I think I can do it! Quick question--is your background color the Wedgewood? It's a beautiful color. Thank you for the videos--I never get tired of them.

      Thanks, Kathy!! Yes, the background color is Wedgewood... I just used a tiny drop of it. And I hope you give it a try - it's so much fun and I really want to try some different styles using this technique!
