    I often see people dragging products in reviews for having "such a small amount" when really it's just an optical illusion from the component. Sometimes they have more than a similar product that just has bulky packaging. Also, people trash Tom Ford for being so expensive when his eyeshadows and foundations sticks are about double the product that you usually would get. It's so important to know how much product you're actually getting for the price in my opinion. It shows how many people really are duped by the clever packaging.

    • @ttsandra
      @ttsandra  6 месяцев назад +2

      for sure!! i always try to look at the actual weight of the product.

      so true! similarly, people complaining about sizes of products like a cream blush that would most likely would go bad before expiring if it was bigger always gets on my nerves hahahaha

    • @AngelissimaASMR
      @AngelissimaASMR 6 месяцев назад

      @@oliviamayumi YES! If one is going to complain, then complain that the price isn't lower for such little product. I remember when the giant Charlotte Tilbury highlighters came out and people were praising what a massive amount of product you get lol I think complaining is only warranted when people are actually going through something very fast like the CT Beauty Light Wands. I still haven't gone through my travel sizes but I hear people commenting that they go through the full sizes pretty quickly for the price.

    • @ttsandra
      @ttsandra  6 месяцев назад +2

      yes!! i think if someone just purchases & uses a single cream blush at a time, i can see how a small amount of product would be offputting. but for those of us with larger blush collections we know it takes YEARS to use up stuff so i really don't mind when a blush has a small amount of product. i actually look forward to using it up before it expires lol @@oliviamayumi

    I've watched this before and never commented, I re watched it. I was a bit bad and last weekend I went shopping and got a heap of Bobbi Brown make up a nars blush . I probably didn't actually need them,it was more of a want. But I definitely have to finish all my products, I love Batiste dry shampoo just the best, I find it really drying on the oil that is at the roots of your hair!!!!! ❤❤❤

    Ok Sandra, once again your reading my mind. I went through my lip products and I have one LE Velvet muse lipstick that I have continued to hold on too because I feel guilty that I spent so much money on it. I no longer love the color and I hate the way it makes my lips look like the Sahara desert. I also have a CT lipstick that I've held on to for the same reasons. Today they are both going bye bye! I realize that I also have accumulated a million eye pencils in every shade of brown possible and some color ones I never use now. That's getting addressed next. After I get through some of the cleanser's I have now, I will check out some of your suggestions. Hope you and Michael had a nice Valentine's day.

      no sense in keeping something around if it makes us feel guilty and we don't love the way it looks anymore!! our tastes change over time and it's ok. lesson learned :) will feel good to do an inventory of all your eyeliners and only keep the few you know you'll get use out of.

    Definitely try the regular Kill Lash (in the black tube). It will hold your curl better…but it’s much harder to remove. You will have to use the LRP makeup remover with it. Honestly though, it’s much better than the red tube.

    • @ttsandra
      @ttsandra  6 месяцев назад

    I've been layering the Pyunkang Yul essence toner then the LaNeige Milky toner and topping it off with, weirdly enough, the Calm and Restore gel moisturizer from Aveeno. It is the perfect amount of moisture for my combo skin and doesn't feel too greasy. I was having some serious irritation so I tried the Aveeno moisturizer because it was so simple and I fell in love.

    Hi Sandra! I always love watching your empties. Have you tried the Lisa Eldridge cleanser? I finally caved after a few friends told me it was well worth getting, but I'm struggling to find the right amount to use, and I also find I can't get off all my makeup. I'm wondering if you've tried it, and how you'd compare it to the Jordan Samuels cleansers, which you've always had me interested in!!
    Glad I'm not the only one who has issue with the LE velvets formula. I love the colors, but need to apply them over a gloss or a really hydrating balm. I found an *ancient* unopened lip crayon from Bite while I was moving a few months ago, and though I mostly wear LE lipsticks was blown away by how much more comfortable a different formula is.

    • @ttsandra
      @ttsandra  6 месяцев назад

      Hi!! No I haven’t tried the Lisa Eldridge cleanser. Are you massaging it in for a while on dry skin and then using slightly warm water to emulsify it? It seems to me that Lisa designed it to be able to be massaged for a while and then as you slowly emulsify with (warm-ish) water it should be able to get the makeup off.
