The penalty system in Forza is a joke. How you get a track limits penalty for being punted off the track is beyond me.

It's good to see this series return! On one hand, I do hope we're getting some great clips in these video's because it's entertaining to watch. Yet on the other hand, it's a shame that the lobbies are still quite filthy. Racing against dirty players isn't fun. But seeing justice/karma being handed out to them, that's a sight to behold!
In my experience it's way cleaner than it used to be
@@JustDevon That is certainly true. There are indeed moments where you can have a proper race. It isn't as messy/as often as Rio was in FM7. From start to finish, there would be carnage.
Maybe the upgrade system helps with this, as everyone starts out with no upgrades.
Idk theres a certain charm to it lol. Like sim racing if it was with bumper cats 😂

How many times that Bimmer overtook that Audi. That's just tragic lol
The top 2 spots should 100% have been 12+ secs of penalty and booted from the lobby, but the penalty system is so bad the Audi didn’t pick up anything and the porsche got a measly 2secs for booting like 4 people off the track

I qualified 1st with my f40 without realizing I needed to tune the gearing and went from 1st to 18th before I even made it to the first corner. I was then rammed off and went to dead last. I still recovered by finishing 3rd overall but it was a frustrating start to say the least.
First gear in the F40 Competitizione is a doozy.

The audi in #2 clip should be permabanned. Same with the Porsche in #1.
Nothing does this series quite as good as Forza! #1 is amazing, not only the driver fails, but forza fails and awards a penalty to the ramee instead of the rammer 👍

Yeah, they need to make it much harder to gain safety rating, and they need to make it extremely strict for lobbies with safety rating.
the thing is, they say precisely that skill rating is the primary value for matchmaking, so really your safety rating doesnt mean too much. I am not a fast driver by any means, but i do like racing cleanly. I dont mind being overtaken legitimately by a faster driver, its just that being a safe racer doesnt mean anything because it seems like its not accounted for in multiplayer lobbies.

3:19 I'll be honest about one thing on FM - starting last and just coming across people that just *regardlessly* want to ram/fight, until you gain 10+ Positions...its rather hilarious, when it claims to say "Contact - No Penalty" lol. Most places I've gained in one race, was 14 places....

Good to see the Forza series back! Out of curiosity though, how do you think FM8 compares to GT7? Like general gameplay, enjoyability, physics, etc.
I've always felt more comfortable with Forza, and this one feels better than ever. But on wheel there is no comparison, GT7 is better.
I prefer the multiplayer having tracks on rotation rather than 3 races for the entire week in GT, that gets a bit stale for me.
FM has a ton of issues and if multiplayer ain't your primary thing, you may be disappointed
@@JustDevon I agree (as a wheel driver). Plus the community is much better on GT7.

@@re14437 im considering buying a ps5 just to play gt7 and not get bumped by another drivers, forza even on S safety rating is terrible they keep using ur car as a brake assistance its so frustating
I feel fortunate to have placed in S-safety and 4930 rank. Still encounter idiots here and there, but generally great races!

My issue with Forza Motorsport online is that I have to continually brake later than I like if there is a car within a second or two. Not to mention that passing is a whole new level of dangerous once you have identified the shameless rammers.

What I think it is, is people/kids do not know how to give space on a track for other cars... Aka dont dive a corner apex when you are on the outside of a corner when side by side.... Like....

This game is trash. I’ve just spent 20 mins practicing tuning my car just to get rammed AGAIN and get a time penalty for the privilege. I remember why I quit now. Multiplayer has been trash since they removed the ability to kick the rammers in the pre race lobby.
if thats not obviously deliberately done, then what is?, because none of that was accidental, FORZA BUMPER CARS, And well sad to say they are like breeding rats, they are not JUST ON FORZA BUMPER CARS!!!
