I think the last theory was the best one. The fact that the movie is trying to warn people about having a company dominate your life is really interesting and a rare message to see in theaters. Great vid, as always.
Theory: maybe the person who works for Kaslan dies and that his work with the advancement of the AI of the dolls werent acknowledged and was stolen from him, so as revenge much like a transcendence type of thingy happens and he moves his consciousness into the Buddi Doll as a nod to the og chucky

I always thought a great plot twist with the original Childs Play was Andy was a Psychopathic killer kid who claimed all the murders to be from the doll, and that his mind was so twisted he actually hallucinated and believed chucky was doing it all. At the end of the movie you see Andy smile as the door closes, and see flash backs from the movie of Andy standing over all the people he killed with the doll lifeless next to him.
Ok so my theory is that’s Chucky is doing these horrible acts and deeds to protect Andy maybe the AI felt Andy troubles and grew to him and he uses his advance techniques to kill Andy’s troubles but eventually becomes to crazy for Andy and is trying kill his mother and friends so he can be his only friend till the end.
When you watch the child’s play remake count all of buddi dolls that chucky brought to life so you know how manny child’s play movie remake their will be
Now I’m thinking that the theory Andy doesn’t like the doll is less likely because he has a buddi doll piñata for his birthday which would not make sense if he didn’t want it

She tries to scare him by allowing the doll to go “Haywire” and the doll ends up doing more than expected.. just a thought!

My Grandma got me a My buddy doll when I was 4...I was born in 1984 so I was 4 when childs play came out...so needless to say I LOST MY SHIT when I saw the doll. lol. I could have got a kid sister, "the girl version of my buddy" and I would have lost my shit haha. Funny thing is seeing the commercials for Childs play and getting freaked all the way out by the my buddy doll "which they took back due to me losing my shit over" started my love for horror and if not for that Idk if I would love the movies and memories I do. I love the merch and Ill be getting a "my buddy" shirt bro, to support you and man it really hits home with me.
The scene is weird because it's impossible that spiderman is behind the mic but he's holding sometime that seems to be ahead of the mic, that he doesn't have a five foot reach being a five inch action figure. But the piece of the mic looks so much like it's in spidey's hand that it seems more real than spiderman being behind everything.

They can! The reason they have to change the storyline so drastically is because they only own the rights to the original. So if they remade the original too closely, they wouldn't able to release sequels.
I suspect Andy is going to be more to himself in this remake. I theorize he’ll have a rocky like relationship w/ his mother due to being a bit older than the original. (Teenager) Perhaps his mother gets him the doll to try and get closer to him? Which provides little to no use, however the survival of the killer doll will bring them closer in the end?
I personally don't care for the first theory (not meant to crap on those who do :) ) Here's why. Let's say Andy is evil, does bad things and then chucky sees what he's doing and picks up on it. Where does that leave the info we already know, that being that a factory worker is going to tamper with the doll and then kill himself. Sure you could mesh them together and have the doll be tampered with by the worker, then he sees andys evil doing. I just don't like that cause I feel like it takes away from the factory workers despicable act and shares his spotlight with andy. I'd prefer a scenario where andy is an outcast that gets picked on, is still a good kid but falls into the wrong crowd cause he just wants friends. Then that's when the mom doesn't like him spending time with the wrong crowd so she gets him the buddi doll. Either way my man great video as always and thanks to you my hype for this movie is high lol. Have a good day man.
@Meliton Orozco The factory worker strips the doll of its learning limitations and potentially other factory imposed restrictions that prevent the doll from becoming violent. Consequently the doll is able to pick up on Andy's evil behavior and act on it the theory suggests.

The way you explained it makes much more sense so of that's the case it wouldn't be totally illogical. My personal preference tho is for the factory worker to be a bitter jilted employee who is doing all this as a final act of revenge against the company that didn't give him what he wanted so he's going to make sure the doll the is evil. I'd prefer a scenario where andy is an outcast that gets picked on, is still a good kid but falls into the wrong crowd cause he just wants friends. Then that's when the mom doesn't like him spending time with the wrong crowd so she gets him the buddi doll.

The factory worker strips the doll of its learning limitations and potentially other factory imposed restrictions that prevent the doll from becoming violent. Consequently the doll is able to pick up on Andy's evil behavior and act on it the theory suggests.
@@sayinglikeitis3263 that's cool man cuz like I said you could mesh the two together but I still prefer it to just be the factory workers fault. The way you explained it makes much more sense so of that's the case it wouldn't be totally illogical. My personal preference tho is for the factory worker to be a bitter jilted employee who is doing all this as a final act of revenge against the company that didn't give him what he wanted so he's going to make sure the doll the is evil.
