    This is one of the video which has clearly explained the Hayes Process Macro. Can you please also upload a video for mediation analysis with two or more IVs using Hayes Process Macro. I really like your methodology. I will be very thankful to you if you can upload the requested video. Thank you in advance, have a good day.

      Thanks. I am glad you liked it. The limitation of Hayes Macro is that you cannot have more than 1 IV. If you have more than 1 IV you will have to use either of AMOS/SmartPLS/SEMinR

    Thanks for the helpful video! In this example, is there any way to know what the impact of commitment on the DV was, averaging across all three levels of the multicategorical moderator? i.e., the main effect of commitment? I note that in the "Model" section, the row of output it provides for commitment only reflects the effect of commitment on the DV when the multicategorial moderator = 1, so it only tells us the effect for small sized banks. Thanks!

      Thanks for watching. You may run a model with IV and DV to gauge the total effect of IV on DV.

    Hello Sir! Thank you for this very nicely put video. I have a question, however. My categorical moderator only has two levels (yes/no), so I did not do the multi-category option, but did everything else that you did (as my IV and DV are both continuous)- such as centering only the continuous variables that define products. Is this correct or am I wrong? Also, can I know why the Johnson-Neyman output is not suited for categorical variables?

    If you have more than two groups in your categorical moderator, is there an option for PROCESS to compare all the groups to each other than to just the reference group? (i.e., compare groups 1-2 & 1-3 & 1-4 & 2-3 & 2-4 & 3-4 rather than just 1-2, 1-3, 1-4 as with the indicator dummy coding)?

    Hi Fawad, for my bachelor dissertation I have IV's = categorical (demografical variables), moderator variable = categorical (attitude towards green product, measured by 7 point likert scale) and DV is continuous (willingness to pay for green product). My Independent variables are like i said categorical but there is always an order. Ex. INCOME: 0-1000 / 1000-15000 / etc... EDUCATION: no education / primary school / highschool / etc... My questions are:
    1) can I just give number from 1 to x to the different groups in this categories and still aply the method you teach in this video? how do I interpret them? ex. for income the group 0-1000 =1, 1000-15000 =2 and so on...
    2) Can I even aply this method whilst having more than 1 IV (income, education, age, gender, religion) 3) I also have 2 binary IV's (gender, religion) how do i treat them?
    Thanks so much for your videos they already helped me a lot your channel is a gem. I hope you find the time to answer my questions. Enjoy your day

    • @researchwithfawad
      @researchwithfawad  2 года назад

      Scholars have suggested that Likert Scale variable can be termed as numeric. If you use your IV as purely categorical then it will be dummy coded and your output will change. Otherwise if you think of it as numeric, as in there is an increase and decrease then the output is different. You can try both and see how the results change. Scholars have put in different opinions about the use of it.

      If all the proposed relationships are insignificant, then there could be an issue with how you have proposed the relationship.
