    I’m not defending Overwatch 2’s monetization but I just wanted to chime in. During OW1 all skins were earnable for free, this is true. The thing is you couldn’t buy currency outright and buying lootboxes only gave a chance at the item you wanted.
    In my ideal world, skins prices can stay the same but make skins go into the hero gallery after some time. I love this game and I want it to do well but it’s tough.

      @ ??? either one. They both have the same monetization theory and are both team shooters. The gameplay should be what you are playing for, no?

    You do realize rivals monetization is as bad as overwatch lol both are terrible games by your logic

      Nah, you can earn credits just by doing missions, battlepasses, and by finishing achievements. I was able to buy the Loki bundle for free just by playing the game. :3

      @@autisticreign but by this logic you can do the same by completing the battle pass. it gives free coins not a lot but it does.

      @@autisticreign you mean with the lattice in the BP and the units and the 1100 units that are over your entire career life? its not a consumer friendly game really
