It was released on melters in early 2013, but re-released on slumberland in march 2014. Weezer is definitely his most prominent influence but there's also a lot of thin lizzy and dinosaur JR in there too.
Oh, okay. I see that now. Thanks for the clarification. Most music blogs and music reviewers didn't touch it until the slumberland release, and it showed up on a lot of 2014 end of year reviews so I'm just going off that. Yes, I notice the other influences too, but there often isn't an all-powerful joke that covers every aspect of something's existence

Did an interview recently. Well it was for my band but he was there, so naturally it became a Tony Molina interview. Q: What is your all time favorite sound? A: "The Beatles." I've heard unreleased stuff, so I can vouch for that.
Ben Sandrock Who makes the rules on what you can call an LP? I hate when bands come out with like a 65min album they can split up on 4 sides of a two records and they call it a double LP. It's like come on man that shit'll fit on one CD. That being said this album feels longer than it is and progresses like a LP.
WhiteMario13 I'm right with you, kiddo. This is an album, just like Swans "To Be Kind" is an album. Or Daugthers "Canada Songs". Playtime or number of songs aren't valid scales for what makes an LP.
@@PuddleBooksnah. They’re very based. Females are cringe degens. You sound emotional like a woman. Take a midol for your quivering pelvic floor muscles Kk? K.
This is the perfect breakup album. I don't even understand why she won't come back. I gave up so much for her and yeah I fucked up but I've done everything in my power to change myself. I just don't understand why
This album is great because it really just puts all of its focus on thick, saturated guitar tones that are pleasing to the ear and nice vocal melodies. You can barely hear the drums or bass but who cares? This is about the guitars. And it's perfectly succinct in every way. Short, melodic songs that hit in the best way. Dont Come Back is a stand out single with its poppy vocals and then its metal inspired breakdowns. A great album all the way through.
+Guerrilla Nerd Rock Which is funny, because 'Everything Will Be Alright In The End' and 'The White Album' are considered to be Weezers best albums since 'The Green Album' at the very least.
RIvers should call Tony and tell him to make song for weezer.
this is weezer in another universe
This is if weezer was way tighter
the most weezer album of 2014.
I actually looked up if Rivers Cuomo was doing some solo project under this name lol
BachBeethovenBeatles which is sad cuz weezer released an album in 2014 lol
BachBeethovenBeatles this album came out in 2013 tho

This is my favoirite record ever.
Life is so fucking short as a Tony Molina´s LP :')
Personally I like this so much better than anything Weezer have ever done.
I mean the blue album is just this but a little more sustainable.
Ovens forever
Good call.
cant beat most of Blue or a song like Tired of Sex but Tony has his guitar playing down sure
compression like a rar file
good sweet everlasting lord this is a fine record
This was one of the albums that got me through a p bad breakup in 2014. Thank you, Tony. Hope to see you again sometime.
I repeat this album at least 3 times when listening to it.
That way you have about 3/4 of a normal album.

Some parts sound identical to Weezer, 2:35 sounds right out of Falling For You
agreed a lot like pinkerton
If you like Tony, you pretty much gotta try Teenage Fanclub.
I saw Tony in a really tiny warehouse with Fury and Give and he covered a Teenage Fanclub, it was sick haha
this guy gets it.
This shit is amazing.
CANT STOP LISTENING!
This album feels way longer than eleven minutes and that's pretty great
Ghoulish ikr, its so dense
sant contreras I just checked out his EP and enjoyed that a lot too. But yeah, dense indeed.
thats because its 11 min. and 56 seconds
Tony Molina is the TRUTH!
Everyone is saying this sounds like Weezer. They def are. But I think Tony is more influenced by the likes of Thin Lizzy, Teenage Fanclub and GBV.
Did an interview recently. Well it was for my band but he was there, so naturally it became a Tony Molina interview. Q: What is your all time favorite sound? A: "The Beatles." I've heard unreleased stuff, so I can vouch for that.
Keegan Hudson I think it sounds like a mixture of Dinosaur Jr and the Beatles
Correct. A lot of solos are Jmascisque like
3:12
Lie to me and tell me that does not sound like across the sea
This is true for the most part but this album particularly has some Weezer Pinkerton vibes.
this album inspired me to make short and sharp songs. amazing!
pop crawler I wanna hear!! ✋
This is Fucking awesome.
this is really good, i hope he'll make full album out of this
this is his full album. it is just short.

@@mungofinalfi4480 Long is a relative term. And the term "LP" is more or less an anachronistic one.
Incelmaxxing with style
Tony would actually try to hit you for saying this
@@PuddleBookstry being the key word.
Anyway I just like joking about his emotional fragility
Incels are based.
@@assrammington7961 no they’re not, you’re a clown ass, no he’s not, he only writes these lyrics bc they fit pop music.

=w=
Best album ever
I hope Weezer ask Tony to tour together, the world should know how good Tony is
"For the punx"
this is lo-fi power pop
it may be lo-fi power pop, but who cares because it's not for you, youre not punx
StarDust power pop is a huge influence in punk and many early punk bands were also power pop
this is the definition of rad

Yeah, fuck her!
Yeah, fuck her! Yeah!
Did you cheat?
DeadpoolX9 It's been a while, I'm just going to say "fuck her!" again.
9:39 is a cover of "Wondering Boy Poet" by Guided By Voices
This record has a really big Weezer Pinkerton influences, I’ve listened to his newer stuff and compared to the rest this is the most prominent.
Blue Album/Pinkerton Weezer
Good job
landmark album
Interludes: The Album
f yeah.
Does anyone know if the album is named after the Breakdown song Dissed and Dismissed?
sounds like pinkerton. still sweet.
just realized everyone said he sounds like weezer
hehe "LP"
The beatles reincarnated!
Is this like Weezer's brother?
hahahaha...this is weezer if multiple universes exist. You can alos hear teenage fanclub on some songs
weezers cuomo's brother
No. These guys are are actually good.
this is the greatest shit ever, straight weezer and the fastbacks influence
tooooooo much annnnnngst
weezer rip off
and it feels so good though
Sounds like a cooler version of Weezer

Tony molina should like... collab with this band called "the ovens"
i think he would like it
Got to see him in a tiny warehouse at like 1 in the morning once, it was so chill.
Jealous!!!
❤❤❤❤❤❤
this is a way Tony say "Weezer suck now, just bring back Matt and it'll be alright again"
+Guerrilla Nerd Rock Which is funny, because 'Everything Will Be Alright In The End' and 'The White Album' are considered to be Weezers best albums since 'The Green Album' at the very least.

Yes it just good news, damn Tony pushed the limits!
